Simard Transport est l’une premi\u00e8res entreprises qu\u00e9b\u00e9coises \u00e0 jouer un r\u00f4le actif dans la d\u00e9carbonation des transports lourds en annon\u00e7ant l’ajout de quatre camions \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 son parc actuel. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Par cette invitiative, Simard d\u00e9bute sa transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique afin de r\u00e9duire ses \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre (GES).<\/span><\/p>\n

Partenariats cl\u00e9s et collaboration<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Simard Transport s’est \u00e9galement associ\u00e9e \u00e0 Cl\u00e9o, filiale d’Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec, afin de prendre en charge le d\u00e9ploiement de son infrastructure de recharge. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous nous r\u00e9jouissons de nous associer \u00e0 Simard Transport pour offrir notre service cl\u00e9s en main ainsi qu’une gestion dynamique de la recharge gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 notre plateforme intelligente. \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Jeff Desruisseaux, PDG de Cl\u00e9o. \u00ab La mission de Cl\u00e9o est d’accompagner les op\u00e9rateurs de parcs de v\u00e9hicules de tous les secteurs d’activit\u00e9 dans la r\u00e9ussite de leur transition vers l’\u00e9lectrification. Cette collaboration nous permettra de propulser la transformation du transport lourd vers un avenir durable. \u00bb <\/span><\/p>\n

Les quatre camions eCascadia de marque Freightliner sont les premiers \u00e0 \u00eatre livr\u00e9s en sol qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois par un concessionnaire qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois, pour un transporteur qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois. Simard Transport a fait confiance \u00e0 l’entreprise familiale GLOBOCAM, le plus grand r\u00e9seau de concessionnaires de camions lourds au Qu\u00e9bec, pour l’achat de ses camions \u00e9lectriques. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab GLOBOCAM a \u00e9paul\u00e9 Simard Transport tout au long du processus d\u00e9cisionnel. Nous avons particip\u00e9 aux analyses techniques et op\u00e9rationnelles pour nous assurer que les camions r\u00e9pondent bien \u00e0 leurs besoins, nous leur avons offert de la formation en plus de les accompagner dans le processus de demandes de subventions \u00bb, mentionne Guillaume Ch\u00e9nard, Vice-pr\u00e9sident, ventes chez GLOBOCAM. <\/span><\/p>\n

La collaboration de tous les acteurs de l’\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois des transports \u00e9lectriques et intelligents (T\u00c9I) est n\u00e9cessaire pour r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de GES produits par les transports. Ce projet en est un bel exemple et les trois entreprises souhaitent qu’il r\u00e9ussisse \u00e0 inspirer l’industrie \u00e0 se d\u00e9carboner.<\/span><\/p>\n
