Le 8 juin, les membres du march\u00e9 secondaire de l’automobile du Manitoba (Manitoba Automotive Aftermarket) et la Child & Family Services Western Manitoba (CFSWM) ont organis\u00e9 leur 17e tournoi de golf annuel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le Sun Fund for Kids Westman est administr\u00e9 par la FCSWM et 100 % des fonds recueillis sont utilis\u00e9s pour envoyer des enfants dans divers camps de la r\u00e9gion. Le Sun Fund for Kids Westman a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 par Brian Marshall du Brandon Sun et de la SFC de l’Ouest du Manitoba en 1988.<\/p>\n

Le tournoi s’est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 au Shilo Golf Course \u00e0 Shilo, au Manitoba, et a r\u00e9uni 41 golfeurs, soutenus par 45 commanditaires de trous du Fonds Sun, dont beaucoup sont des supporters depuis le tournoi inaugural de 2005. Ce fut une belle journ\u00e9e de golf pour tous ceux qui, une fois de plus, ont profit\u00e9 d’un parcours exigeant sous un ciel ensoleill\u00e9. Lors du d\u00eener d’apr\u00e8s-tournoi, les membres du March\u00e9 secondaire de l’automobile du Manitoba ont remis un ch\u00e8que de 6800 $ au directeur financier de la SFC de l’Ouest du Manitoba, Mark Gillis. M. Gillis a \u00e9galement remport\u00e9 le tirage au sort moiti\u00e9 \/ moiti\u00e9 et a g\u00e9n\u00e9reusement fait don de ses gains au Sun Fund for Kids, ce qui porte le don du tournoi 2023 \u00e0 7200 $ et le total sur 17 ans \u00e0 plus de 122 000 $.<\/p>\n

Le 18e tournoi de golf Sun Fund for Kids aura lieu le 6 juin 2024.<\/p>\n
