L’un des partenariats les plus anciens dans le domaine du sport automobile va passer le cap des 40 ans, puisque l’\u00e9quipe Penske et PPG ont annonc\u00e9 une extension pluriannuelle de leur accord pour les programmes NASCAR et INDYCAR de l’\u00e9quipe.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le sch\u00e9ma de peinture bleu et blanc de PPG, distinct et populaire, se poursuivra dans la comp\u00e9tition de la NTT INDYCAR SERIES (NICS) puisque le double champion NICS, Josef Newgarden, pilotera la Chevrolet PPG n\u00b02 en 2023 et \u00e0 l’avenir. PPG restera \u00e9galement partenaire associ\u00e9 de la Chevrolet n\u00b012 pilot\u00e9e par Will Power, champion NICS en titre, et de la Chevrolet n\u00b03 pilot\u00e9e par Scott McLaughlin, pr\u00e9tendant au titre. Dans le cadre de ce nouvel accord, PPG redeviendra \u00e9galement un partenaire de l’\u00e9quipe Penske en NASCAR Cup Series (NCS), en tant que sponsor associ\u00e9 de la Ford Mustang n\u00b02 pilot\u00e9e par Austin Cindric, de la Ford Mustang n\u00b012 pilot\u00e9e par Ryan Blaney, et de la Ford Mustang n\u00b022 pilot\u00e9e par Joey Logano, champion en titre de la Cup Series.<\/p>\n

Un partenariat depuis 40 ans<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Le partenariat entre Team Penske et PPG a d\u00e9but\u00e9 lors de la saison 1984 de la s\u00e9rie INDYCAR. Au cours des 40 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, l’\u00e9quipe Penske et PPG ont visit\u00e9 ensemble le couloir de la victoire \u00e0 12 reprises dans les comp\u00e9titions INDYCAR et NASCAR. La saison derni\u00e8re, Newgarden a conduit la Chevrolet PPG n\u00b02 \u00e0 des victoires au Texas Motor Speedway, \u00e0 Road America et au World Wide Technology Raceway. Parmi les 25 victoires NICS de Newgarden en carri\u00e8re, cinq ont \u00e9t\u00e9 remport\u00e9es sous les couleurs de PPG.<\/p>\n

\u00ab J’adore \u00eatre au volant de la Chevrolet PPG n\u00b02 \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Newgarden, vainqueur en titre du PPG 375 de ce week-end au Texas Motor Speedway. \u00ab Le magnifique sch\u00e9ma de peinture est un favori des fans, et nous obtenons toujours de bons r\u00e9sultats lorsque PPG est sur la voiture. PPG a \u00e9galement tir\u00e9 parti de son partenariat avec Team Penske pour d\u00e9velopper ses initiatives d’engagement communautaire, notamment le programme COLORFUL COMMUNITIES. Plus r\u00e9cemment, les pilotes INDYCAR et NASCAR de l’\u00e9quipe Penske ont aid\u00e9 PPG \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer le Hawthorne Community Center \u00e0 Indianapolis afin d’avoir un impact positif et durable sur la communaut\u00e9 locale.<\/p>\n
