On se souviendra de Geoff Seely comme d’une personne compatissante et passionn\u00e9e par notre industrie.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Plus t\u00f4t ce mois-ci, Holman a annonc\u00e9 le d\u00e9c\u00e8s de Geoff Seely, qui a dirig\u00e9 les activit\u00e9s canadiennes de Holman en tant que vice-pr\u00e9sident et directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral au cours des cinq derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Que vous ayez eu la chance de conna\u00eetre Geoff en tant qu’ami, coll\u00e8gue, partenaire d’affaires ou pair de l’industrie, vous savez qu’il \u00e9tait un homme bon, un grand ami, un leader de confiance et une personne v\u00e9ritablement gentille qui manquera incroyablement \u00e0 beaucoup \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Bob White, pr\u00e9sident, Fleet & Mobility, Holman. \u00ab Au fil des ans, Geoff a inspir\u00e9 et encadr\u00e9 d’innombrables employ\u00e9s et a toujours trait\u00e9 nos clients et partenaires commerciaux comme une famille, incarnant v\u00e9ritablement les valeurs fondamentales de Holman. Geoff est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 le 21 d\u00e9cembre 2022 et un service comm\u00e9moratif a eu lieu peu apr\u00e8s \u00e0 Burlington, en Ontario.<\/p>\n

Chaleureux et compatissant, on se souviendra toujours de Geoff pour son grand c\u0153ur et son sourire omnipr\u00e9sent.<\/p>\n

\u00ab J’\u00e9tais \u00e0 son service comm\u00e9moratif, se rappelle M. White, et il y avait une exposition de photos de Geoff au fil des ans, et une constante dans chaque photo \u00e9tait le sourire de Geoff. Que ce soit avec sa famille, ses amis ou ses coll\u00e8gues de travail, ce m\u00eame grand sourire \u00e9tait constant sur toutes les photos. C’est l’essence m\u00eame de sa personnalit\u00e9, il repr\u00e9sente qui il \u00e9tait et comment nous nous souviendrons toujours de lui. On peut se demander comment il pouvait \u00eatre toujours aussi heureux, mais c’est ce qu’il \u00e9tait. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Une personne sociable<\/strong><\/h2>\n

M. White ajoute que Geoff restera dans les m\u00e9moires comme une personne sociable. \u00ab Il s’\u00e9panouissait autour des gens et il ch\u00e9rissait les relations qu’il avait avec ceux qui faisaient partie de sa vie, que ce soit \u00e0 la maison ou au travail. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Geoff \u00e9tait \u00e9galement connu pour sa grande \u00e9nergie et son attitude positive et optimiste, que beaucoup d\u00e9crivaient comme contagieuse. \u00ab Il \u00e9tait tout simplement agr\u00e9able \u00e0 c\u00f4toyer, ajoute M. White. Les gens gravitaient naturellement autour de lui. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Une carri\u00e8re \u00e0 l’impact remarquable<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Comptable professionnel agr\u00e9\u00e9 de profession, Geoff a commenc\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re en 1992 chez KPMG Canada, o\u00f9 il \u00e9tait cadre sup\u00e9rieur. Apr\u00e8s avoir gravi les \u00e9chelons dans un certain nombre d’organisations, il a fini par trouver sa voie dans l’industrie des parcs automobiles. Geoff a travaill\u00e9 pour Element Fleet Management en tant que vice-pr\u00e9sident des finances de 2013 \u00e0 2015, et apr\u00e8s un passage en tant que directeur financier chez Sym-Tech Dealer Services, il a rejoint Holman (alors ARI) en 2018, et a continu\u00e9 avec l’entreprise jusqu’\u00e0 son d\u00e9c\u00e8s.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Geoff \u00e9tait une personne vraiment remarquable et nous c\u00e9l\u00e9brons la chance que nous avons eue de l’avoir dans nos vies, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. White. Nous c\u00e9l\u00e9brons l’ami, le p\u00e8re et le mari qu’il \u00e9tait et nous c\u00e9l\u00e9brons l’impact qu’il a eu sur notre entreprise. Nous allons continuer et faire ce qu’il aurait voulu que nous fassions. \u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab Geoff se concentrait sur nos employ\u00e9s, sur nos clients et sur la recherche de la perfection. Il \u00e9tait un d\u00e9fenseur acharn\u00e9 de la voix de nos clients, ce qui a renforc\u00e9 notre \u00e9tat d’esprit centr\u00e9 sur le client. C’est l’h\u00e9ritage qu’il laisse derri\u00e8re lui, garantissant que nous sommes bien positionn\u00e9s pour \u00eatre un leader du service dans notre secteur, et nous continuerons \u00e0 faire de notre mieux pour honorer sa m\u00e9moire. \u00bb<\/p>\n
