Dans le contexte \u00e9conomique actuel o\u00f9 les prix augmentent aux trois mois, il est in\u00e9vitable que certains propri\u00e9taires de v\u00e9hicule cherchent \u00e0 \u00e9conomiser sur le co\u00fbt de leurs r\u00e9parations m\u00e9caniques.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Et, je suis pr\u00eat \u00e0 conclure aussi que certains ateliers de r\u00e9paration vont vouloir aller dans cette direction, question de ne pas perdre \u00ab\u00a0la job \u00bb. Mais honn\u00eatement, je ne suis pas convaincu que cette pratique va \u00eatre gagnante, ni d\u2019un c\u00f4t\u00e9 ni de l\u2019autre du comptoir. Car attention aux histoires d\u2019horreur !<\/p>\n

Chauffage d\u00e9ficient<\/b><\/h2>\n

Je vous partage un cas qui s\u2019est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 dans une de nos baies de service r\u00e9cemment. Il s\u2019agissait d\u2019un Chrysler Sebring 2010. La plainte du client\u00a0: lors de son dernier voyage en Floride, le passager avant avait tr\u00e8s peu de chauffage. Ici, il faut noter que le v\u00e9hicule a \u00e9t\u00e9 rachet\u00e9 il n\u2019y a pas si longtemps.<\/p>\n

La premi\u00e8re v\u00e9rification a \u00e9t\u00e9 de constater la diff\u00e9rence entre le c\u00f4t\u00e9 chauffeur et le c\u00f4t\u00e9 passager. Sans thermom\u00e8tre, juste avec nos mains, on ressent une \u00e9norme diff\u00e9rence entre les deux. On peut \u00e9liminer ici les probl\u00e8mes de porte qui contr\u00f4le la chaleur, car dans cette voiture, il n\u2019y a pas de syst\u00e8me de contr\u00f4le de la temp\u00e9rature bizone. Alors, techniquement, s\u2019il y a de la chaleur sur un c\u00f4t\u00e9, l\u2019autre devrait en avoir aussi. On peut aussi \u00e9liminer l\u2019existence d\u2019un probl\u00e8me dans le conduit de ventilation puisqu\u2019il y a autant d\u2019air qui sort de chaque c\u00f4t\u00e9. Il ne reste qu\u2019une cause\u00a0: le radiateur de chauffage est obstru\u00e9.<\/p>\n

On proc\u00e8de \u00e0 un nettoyage du radiateur de chauffage, en esp\u00e9rant un miracle. Non, rien ne fonctionne. Il faut le remplacer. C\u2019est un contrat de plusieurs heures, assez sal\u00e9, car il faut retirer le tableau de bord au complet.<\/p>\n

Une fois le radiateur en main, on d\u00e9cide de l\u2019ouvrir, question de confirmer qu\u2019il est bouch\u00e9, probablement par des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts de calcaire, chose qu\u2019on voit couramment sur des v\u00e9hicules plus \u00e2g\u00e9s.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Eh bien non, il est compl\u00e8tement obstru\u00e9, mais par du bouche-fuite\u00a0! Constatation qui vraisemblablement va choquer le propri\u00e9taire. L\u2019ancien propri\u00e9taire (ou technicien) \u00e0 inject\u00e9 du bouche-fuite dans le syst\u00e8me de refroidissement, et l\u00e0, le nouveau propri\u00e9taire en paie le prix.<\/p>\n

Une fausse \u00e9conomie<\/b><\/h2>\n

O\u00f9 je veux en venir avec cette r\u00e9paration ? Si cette r\u00e9paration pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente avait \u00e9t\u00e9 sugg\u00e9r\u00e9e par un atelier, il faut se rendre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9vidence que ses cons\u00e9quences sont assez catastrophiques. Et cela s\u2019applique \u00e0 toute r\u00e9paration qui n\u2019est pas conforme au m\u00e9tier que nous pratiquons. Couper les coins ronds pour \u00e9conomiser entra\u00eene souvent des r\u00e9parations plus co\u00fbteuses. Et prendre cette approche en pensant bien faire n\u2019excuse pas cette pratique.<\/p>\n

En conclusion, avec le nouveau radiateur de chauffage install\u00e9, le propri\u00e9taire avait tr\u00e8s h\u00e2te \u00e0 sa prochaine escapade vers la Floride.<\/p>\n
