Propuls\u00e9 par un moteur turbo de 1,8 litre \u00e0 injection directe, le client a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que la voiture fonctionnait normalement, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce qu&rsquo;un matin, en voulant la d\u00e9marrer, elle tourne mais ne d\u00e9marre pas.<\/p>\n<p>Une fois le v\u00e9hicule dans notre atelier, nous avons commenc\u00e9 par un balayage de code du PCM et avons r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 un code de capteur d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne, un code de r\u00e9gulateur de pression de carburant et un code de bus de communication. Il n&rsquo;y avait pas de code d&rsquo;immobilisation, donc le code de communication a \u00e9t\u00e9 ignor\u00e9. Comme on avait branch\u00e9 l&rsquo;outil d&rsquo;analyse, on a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de regarder les donn\u00e9es de d\u00e9marrage. La seule chose inhabituelle que nous avons remarqu\u00e9e est que la pression de carburant \u00e9lev\u00e9e r\u00e9elle \u00e9tait environ 200 psi plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e que la pression de carburant souhait\u00e9e. C&rsquo;est bizarre, mais \u00e7a n&rsquo;aurait pas d\u00fb emp\u00eacher la voiture de d\u00e9marrer.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Compression relative et absence d&rsquo;anomalies<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Les contr\u00f4les habituels ont \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9s, et le moteur a \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9 pour l&rsquo;\u00e9tincelle et l&rsquo;impulsion de l&rsquo;injecteur. Il avait les deux, et un contr\u00f4le de compression relatif n&rsquo;a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 aucune anomalie.<\/p>\n<p>Puisque le moteur semblait avoir une \u00e9tincelle, du carburant et une compression, nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de creuser un peu plus. Un capteur de pression intra-cylindre a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9 au cylindre n\u00b01 et le moteur a \u00e9t\u00e9 remis en marche pour voir o\u00f9 se situait le calage r\u00e9el des injecteurs et de l&rsquo;allumage par rapport au point mort haut (PMH).<\/p>\n<p>La figure 1 montre les r\u00e9sultats de l&rsquo;essai. \u00c0 premi\u00e8re vue, l&rsquo;injecteur et le calage de l&rsquo;allumage semblent normaux, mais en regardant de plus pr\u00e8s, nous avons remarqu\u00e9 que la bobine et l&rsquo;injecteur s&rsquo;allumaient sur un temps de compression sur deux.<\/p>\n<p>Le d\u00e9clenchement de la bobine et de l&rsquo;injecteur tous les deux temps de compression est une d\u00e9faillance inhabituelle, qui ne peut se produire que si le PCM re\u00e7oit de mauvaises informations ou si le PCM est d\u00e9fectueux. Les circuits d&rsquo;alimentation et de masse du PCM ont \u00e9t\u00e9 v\u00e9rifi\u00e9s, aucun d\u00e9faut n&rsquo;a \u00e9t\u00e9 trouv\u00e9. Nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d&rsquo;examiner le CMP et le CKP et de les comparer au \u00ab bon \u00bb fonctionnement connu. Nous avons remarqu\u00e9 que le timing du CMP \u00e9tait d\u00e9cal\u00e9 d&rsquo;environ 8 degr\u00e9s par rapport \u00e0 la norme. C&rsquo;\u00e9tait suffisant pour indiquer qu&rsquo;il y avait un probl\u00e8me de synchronisation, peut-\u00eatre une cha\u00eene \u00e9tir\u00e9e, mais toujours pas assez pour causer les allumages bizarres et l&rsquo;impossibilit\u00e9 de d\u00e9marrer.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Impossible<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u00c0 ce stade, je savais que nous avions n\u00e9glig\u00e9 quelque chose, mais ce n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas \u00e9vident. Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9tudi\u00e9 le mod\u00e8le pendant un peu plus longtemps, nous avons finalement d\u00e9couvert quel \u00e9tait le probl\u00e8me. Nous sommes revenus en arri\u00e8re et avons mesur\u00e9 le temps entre les pics de compression. Le temps de pic \u00e0 pic \u00e9tait de 180 millisecondes. De simples calculs indiqueraient que le moteur tournait \u00e0 600 tours par minute. Cela n&rsquo;est manifestement pas possible, et l&rsquo;explication \u00e9tait que cela aurait d\u00fb \u00eatre \u00e9vident d\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re fois que nous avons regard\u00e9 le mod\u00e8le de port\u00e9e. L&rsquo;allumage ne se faisait pas sur un temps de compression sur deux, mais plut\u00f4t sur tous les temps de compression. Il se trouve qu&rsquo;un temps de compression suppl\u00e9mentaire s&rsquo;est produit \u00e0 la place du temps d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement. Le calage de la came d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement avait saut\u00e9 suffisamment loin pour que la soupape d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement soit ferm\u00e9e sur la course d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement. Cela a provoqu\u00e9 la deuxi\u00e8me course de compression, car la soupape d&rsquo;admission \u00e9tait \u00e9galement ferm\u00e9e lors de la course d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement. Cela explique \u00e9galement la pression \u00e9lev\u00e9e du carburant, car la pompe \u00e0 carburant haute pression est entra\u00een\u00e9e par la came d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement.
