Le fait d\u2019\u00e9voluer de nouveau sur la piste de Pittsburgh, o\u00f9 il avait roul\u00e9 en juillet dernier, \u00e9tait un avantage pour Jean-Christophe : \u00ab c\u2019est le seul circuit o\u00f9 deux \u00e9v\u00e9nements de F2000 sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans la m\u00eame saison. La confiance en piste est donc venue tr\u00e8s rapidement, \u00e7a m\u2019a beaucoup aid\u00e9 de pouvoir d\u2019entr\u00e9e de jeu travailler sur les r\u00e9glages sans devoir apprendre un nouveau trac\u00e9 \u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">La fin de semaine de courses peut \u00eatre qualifi\u00e9e de parfaite ou presque pour le pilote qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois, qui a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 les deux pole positions et sign\u00e9 les deux victoires. \u00ab Lors des qualifications, j\u2019aurais pu faire plus de tours mais j\u2019\u00e9conomisais mes pneus, sachant que le r\u00e8glement de la s\u00e9rie impose de disputer la course avec le m\u00eame train de pneus. Mais \u00e7a ne m\u2019a pas emp\u00each\u00e9 de signer les deux pole positions avec chaque fois plus d\u2019une demi-seconde d\u2019avance sur mon plus proche adversaire, ce qui \u00e9tait vraiment prometteur pour les courses \u00bb, confie Trahan.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Un r\u00eave r\u00e9alis\u00e9<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Jean-Christophe est le second pilote qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois de l\u2019histoire de la s\u00e9rie \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser pareil exploit, apr\u00e8s R\u00e9my Audette il y a 11 ans. \u00ab Lorsque j\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 parler avec l\u2019\u00e9quipe Global Racing Team au printemps, je n\u2019avais gu\u00e8re de budget et je n\u2019imaginais m\u00eame pas disputer toute la saison. J\u2019ai manqu\u00e9 le premier \u00e9v\u00e9nement et j\u2019ai sign\u00e9 pour trois courses seulement. \u00c0 peine 6 mois plus tard, je suis le laur\u00e9at de 7 courses et je suis champion 2022. C\u2019est un r\u00eave, c\u2019est exceptionnel ! \u00bb a indiqu\u00e9 Trahan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Jean-Christophe Trahan a pu remporter ce titre gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019aide de partenaires: \u00ab Gestion Lux Automotives, MF Racing, OMP, Contour D\u00e9tour, Imprimerie Les 4 Points, Blud Lubricants qui a soutenu l\u2019\u00e9quipe tout au long de la saison&#8230; et bien s\u00fbr mes parents qui m\u2019ont toujours support\u00e9 et tous les g\u00e9n\u00e9reux donateurs de mon GoFundMe ! \u00bb <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Il ajoute : \u00ab Ce titre est tr\u00e8s satisfaisant car il a \u00e9t\u00e9 acquis dans une s\u00e9rie que je d\u00e9couvrais, sur des circuits et avec une \u00e9quipe que je d\u00e9couvrais. Ces essais auront lieu dans deux semaines au prestigieux Indianapolis Motor Speedway.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Au-del\u00e0 de cela, le pilote de Ste-Th\u00e9r\u00e8se esp\u00e8re pouvoir r\u00e9unir assez de fonds pour continuer \u00e0 progresser dans la hi\u00e9rarchie du sport automobile en 2023. \u00ab La fili\u00e8re des s\u00e9ries monoplaces amenant \u00e0 l\u2019IndyCar demande des budgets astronomiques.
