Les concessionnaires cherchent \u00e0 mettre la main sur tous les stocks possibles et, dans certains cas, des v\u00e9hicules d&rsquo;occasion de trois ou quatre ans se vendent encore aussi cher que s&rsquo;ils \u00e9taient neufs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les concessionnaires avis\u00e9s reconnaissent que les v\u00e9ritables opportunit\u00e9s peuvent \u00eatre trouv\u00e9es dans ces v\u00e9hicules d&rsquo;occasion \u00e0 faible kilom\u00e9trage et bien entretenus. Mais comment les concessionnaires peuvent-ils contribuer \u00e0 assurer un approvisionnement rapide de ce type de voitures et de camions sur un march\u00e9 en manque de stocks ?<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;un des moyens est de tirer parti de la puissance du financement et de l&rsquo;assurance (F&amp;A) gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des produits tels que les garanties prolong\u00e9es, l&rsquo;entretien pr\u00e9pay\u00e9 et les plans de protection des v\u00e9hicules. Jake Stacey, vice-pr\u00e9sidente ex\u00e9cutive des ventes et de la formation, LGM Financial Services, pose un point int\u00e9ressant. \u00ab En tant que concessionnaire, je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re ramener un v\u00e9hicule que je connais, en connaissant la personne qui le conduit et les produits de protection qui s&rsquo;y trouvent, ou tenter ma chance lors d&rsquo;une vente aux ench\u00e8res ? \u00bb<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Analyse des besoins<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Mme Stacey affirme que les concessionnaires qui r\u00e9ussissent, avec des directeurs des services financiers tr\u00e8s comp\u00e9tents, peuvent, en effectuant une analyse efficace des besoins d&rsquo;un client qui ach\u00e8te un nouveau v\u00e9hicule, s&rsquo;assurer d&rsquo;un stock de v\u00e9hicules d&rsquo;occasion propres, d\u00e9sirables et bien entretenus dans les deux ou trois ans \u00e0 venir, en utilisant le F&amp;I comme outil pour entretenir correctement le v\u00e9hicule et la relation avec le client.<\/p>\n<p>Mme Stacey pense que la cl\u00e9 pour y parvenir est de s&rsquo;assurer que les concessionnaires \u00ab font ce qu&rsquo;il faut pour leurs clients \u00bb, en d&rsquo;autres termes, en offrant des produits F&amp;I bien con\u00e7us et centr\u00e9s sur le client qui apportent des avantages non seulement aujourd&rsquo;hui mais aussi \u00e0 l&rsquo;avenir. Des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s comme LGM offrent aux concessionnaires une excellente occasion de le faire en proposant des \u00e9l\u00e9ments tels que des cr\u00e9dits de r\u00e9tention et de fid\u00e9lit\u00e9, qui permettent aux clients de passer d&rsquo;un v\u00e9hicule \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre sans p\u00e9nalit\u00e9. Des conditions flexibles de ce type sont favorables au client et permettent de fid\u00e9liser le concessionnaire. \u00ab Si les concessionnaires jouent bien leurs cartes [et leurs voitures], ils peuvent potentiellement contr\u00f4ler jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 40 % de leur futur stock d&rsquo;occasion de cette mani\u00e8re \u00bb, d\u00e9clare Mme Stacey. Le r\u00e9sultat leur conf\u00e8re un avantage consid\u00e9rable sur un march\u00e9 o\u00f9 il est souvent difficile de trouver des v\u00e9hicules d&rsquo;occasion de haute qualit\u00e9 \u00e0 des prix raisonnables lors des ventes aux ench\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p>Une autre fa\u00e7on de valoriser les v\u00e9hicules d&rsquo;occasion par le biais du F&amp;A est la couverture de l&rsquo;apparence et de la protection cosm\u00e9tique. \u00ab Les produits tels que la peinture et la protection contre la rouille sont excellents non seulement pour le client, mais aussi pour le concessionnaire, car ils lui permettent de fid\u00e9liser sa client\u00e8le dans son aire de service \u00bb, explique Jill Kleovoulos, directrice du marketing, produits auxiliaires, iA Dealer Services. \u00ab Avec des niveaux d&rsquo;inventaire \u00e0 un niveau historiquement bas, les concessionnaires qui cherchent \u00e0 racheter des v\u00e9hicules populaires peuvent cibler ceux qui ont ces produits appliqu\u00e9s et les revendre en toute confiance &#8211; sachant qu&rsquo;ils sont prot\u00e9g\u00e9s et pr\u00eats \u00e0 r\u00e9int\u00e9grer le march\u00e9. \u00bb<\/p>\n<h2><strong>V\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Steve Holmes, vice-pr\u00e9sident du Myers Automotive Group \u00e0 Ottawa (Ontario), fait remarquer qu&rsquo;\u00e9tant donn\u00e9 l&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat actuel et les discussions autour des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques, ainsi que la croissance pr\u00e9vue des ventes et des services dans ce segment, les garanties prolong\u00e9es et les plans d&rsquo;entretien vont probablement s&rsquo;av\u00e9rer encore plus essentiels, surtout en ce qui concerne la suspension, les alignements et l&rsquo;entretien des freins.<\/p>\n<p>Selon M. Holmes, il est \u00e9galement probable que l&rsquo;on assiste \u00e0 une \u00e9volution en termes de r\u00e9paration et de remplacement des composants et que l&rsquo;on s&rsquo;\u00e9loigne de certaines pi\u00e8ces traditionnelles, notamment celles li\u00e9es au groupe motopropulseur.
