(\u00ab Tesseract \u00bb), a \u00e9t\u00e9 retenu pour redessiner un \u00e9l\u00e9ment structurel (14 pi\u00e8ces) dans une enceinte de batterie de v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique (V\u00c9) existante. En int\u00e9grant le SmartMetal \u2013 la mousse d&rsquo;aluminium exclusive de Cymat \u2013 dans le composant, le nouveau design devrait optimiser les performances en r\u00e9duisant le poids, en am\u00e9liorant la r\u00e9sistance aux chocs, en minimisant la complexit\u00e9 de fabrication et en cr\u00e9ant des \u00e9conomies pour l&rsquo;\u00e9quipementier. Cette opportunit\u00e9 est l&rsquo;aboutissement d&rsquo;un travail de pr\u00e8s d&rsquo;un an d&rsquo;exploration de solutions potentielles aux d\u00e9fis des \u00e9quipementiers en mati\u00e8re de syst\u00e8mes de bo\u00eetiers de batteries pour v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Conception et v\u00e9rification des performances<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">La premi\u00e8re phase de l&rsquo;accord pr\u00e9voit l&rsquo;ach\u00e8vement de la conception et la v\u00e9rification des performances par simulation informatique. Par la suite, Cymat devra produire des prototypes physiques pour l&rsquo;\u00e9quipementier afin de valider ces r\u00e9sultats de simulation. Une fois que les essais de collision physique par l&rsquo;\u00e9quipementier seront termin\u00e9s avec succ\u00e8s et que d&rsquo;autres questions li\u00e9es \u00e0 la production et au prix auront \u00e9t\u00e9 accept\u00e9es, Cymat esp\u00e8re recevoir un contrat de production en s\u00e9rie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Comme ce composant est commun \u00e0 un certain nombre de plates-formes de v\u00e9hicules et serait trait\u00e9 comme un<\/span><em> changement courant<\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, le volume potentiel de SmartMetal ainsi que le d\u00e9lai comprim\u00e9 de production, la direction consid\u00e8re cette opportunit\u00e9 comme \u00e9tant transformationnelle pour Cymat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">L&rsquo;\u00e9quipementier a \u00e9galement indiqu\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il souhaitait que Cymat\/Tesseract \u00e9value d&rsquo;autres \u00e9l\u00e9ments de leur bo\u00eetier de batterie pour en am\u00e9liorer les performances.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Michael Liik, PDG de Cymat, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab Nous attendions ce moment depuis longtemps et je suis ravi que Cymat ait enfin p\u00e9n\u00e9tr\u00e9 le secteur automobile.
