Une autre caract\u00e9ristique essentielle du nouveau moteur est la transmission de puissance sans contact qui permet un fonctionnement sans usure et sans entretien. Le rendement est sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 95 % \u00e0 presque tous les points de fonctionnement, un niveau qui, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, n&rsquo;\u00e9tait atteint que par les voitures de course de la Formule E. Ce nouveau d\u00e9veloppement peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 dans n&rsquo;importe quel v\u00e9hicule, des sous-compactes aux v\u00e9hicules commerciaux. Selon le communiqu\u00e9 du jury : \u00ab Cela le rend non seulement sans entretien et durable, mais aussi particuli\u00e8rement efficace et attrayant pour une large gamme d&rsquo;applications. Autre avantage, le moteur ne n\u00e9cessite aucune terre rare, ce qui permet d&rsquo;\u00e9conomiser des mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res et de le rendre encore plus durable.
