{"id":362293,"date":"2022-05-17T17:18:36","date_gmt":"2022-05-17T21:18:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/autosphere.ca\/?p=362293"},"modified":"2022-05-19T09:52:35","modified_gmt":"2022-05-19T13:52:35","slug":"dossier-rappels-400-000-vehicules-a-risque-dincendie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/autosphere.ca\/fr\/mecanique\/2022\/05\/17\/dossier-rappels-400-000-vehicules-a-risque-dincendie\/","title":{"rendered":"Dossier rappels : 400\u2009000 v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 risque d\u2019incendie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Des quelque 300 rappels touchant 1,5 million de v\u00e9hicules depuis 2020, pr\u00e8s d\u2019une quarantaine portent sur plus de 400\u2009000 v\u00e9hicules pr\u00e9sentant un risque d\u2019incendie.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Des dizaines de milliers de v\u00e9hicules des ann\u00e9es\u00a02015 \u00e0 2022 qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rappel\u00e9s par les constructeurs repr\u00e9sentent autant de risques graves sinon mortels pour leurs occupants et les usagers de la route.<\/p>\n<p>Or, un nombre consid\u00e9rable de rappels ne sont pas r\u00e9gl\u00e9s pour diverses raisons, les propri\u00e9taires \u00e9tant injoignables, volontairement ignorants de l\u2019alerte, n\u00e9gligents ou peu conscients des cons\u00e9quences d\u2019un non suivi.<\/p>\n<p>Ces rappels, qui touchent bon an mal an 1 v\u00e9hicule sur 6, ont tous trait \u00e0 des d\u00e9fauts de montage ou de fabrication qui peuvent provoquer un accident, une panne, un incendie, de graves s\u00e9quelles ou la mort.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Liste compl\u00e8te des rappels<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ceux qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9s depuis deux ans portent sur 186 probl\u00e8mes d\u2019ordre structurel, m\u00e9canique, \u00e9lectrique, \u00e9lectronique et informatique, ainsi que sur certaines anomalies tel un acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur qui se coince.<\/p>\n<p>Selon le rappel, ce sont des dizaines ou des centaines de milliers v\u00e9hicules dont le d\u00e9faut est tant\u00f4t reli\u00e9 au carburant, au moteur, aux freins, aux circuits \u00e9lectriques, ou aux si\u00e8ges et ceintures de s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Comme il est impossible d\u2019avoir une vue d\u2019ensemble de leur nature, lorsqu\u2019on les consulte \u00e0 la pi\u00e8ce, nous pr\u00e9sentons en fin de texte la liste compl\u00e8te des d\u00e9fauts d\u00e9clar\u00e9s au cours des deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Une seule source officielle<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, ces rappels, qui exigent qu\u2019une inspection ou un correctif soit fait aux frais du constructeur au plus t\u00f4t, n\u2019\u00e9taient en principe connus que des propri\u00e9taires.<\/p>\n<p>En 2022, la situation est fort diff\u00e9rente, plusieurs sites reli\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019automobile comportant un lien conduisant \u00e0 la Banque de donn\u00e9es \u00e0 jour de Transports Canada, o\u00f9 se trouve la fiche officielle de chacun.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>De vraies alertes<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Les rappels de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sont de vraies alertes dont chacun doit tenir compte avec grande attention. Ils sont d\u2019une telle importance, qu\u2019on doit m\u00eame accorder autant de priorit\u00e9 \u00e0 ceux de 1970 qu\u2019aux tout r\u00e9cents.<\/p>\n<p>Puisqu\u2019il est question de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re, donc de la vie des occupants et des usagers de la route, la responsabilit\u00e9 de veiller \u00e0 corriger les d\u00e9fauts ou \u00e0 informer les automobilistes concerne aussi les garagistes.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Un rappel de 1970 est aussi important que le plus r\u00e9cent.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>V\u00e9rifier si un v\u00e9hicule doit \u00eatre inspect\u00e9 en raison d\u2019un rappel se fait en quelques secondes, que ce soit directement par le site de Transports Canada, du constructeur ou de tout lien y conduisant.<\/p>\n<p>Il faut savoir qu\u2019un bon nombre de probl\u00e8mes peuvent \u00eatre r\u00e9gl\u00e9s rapidement en resserrant des boulons ou des \u00e9crous, ou en refixant des conduites ou certaines pi\u00e8ces, mais beaucoup sont plus complexes.<\/p>\n<p>Parmi ceux-ci, il y a plusieurs dizaines de modules ou de syst\u00e8mes \u00e0 mettre \u00e0 jour ou \u00e0 reprogrammer, ou encore des pi\u00e8ces \u00e0 remplacer que seul le constructeur poss\u00e8de.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Une responsabilit\u00e9 professionnelle<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Vu la responsabilit\u00e9 des professionnels de l\u2019entretien en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, et la confiance que leur portent en ce sens les clients, il leur revient somme toute d\u2019\u00eatre sous cet aspect \u00e9galement vigilants.<\/p>\n<p>Qu\u2019un client fasse ou non mention d\u2019un probl\u00e8me, il est particuli\u00e8rement opportun de v\u00e9rifier en moins d\u2019une minute si son v\u00e9hicule est l\u2019objet d\u2019un rappel, et de l\u2019informer ou de le rassurer \u00e0 ce sujet.<\/p>\n<p>Si un d\u00e9faut doit \u00eatre corrig\u00e9 sur-le-champ, il y a lieu de voir, selon sa nature, si celui-ci doit forc\u00e9ment s\u2019en remettre \u00e0 un concessionnaire ou autoriser lui-m\u00eame la correction, quitte \u00e0 payer contre remboursement.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cas o\u00f9 la concession est \u00e9loign\u00e9e, il est possible que le constructeur, avec l\u2019accord du client, autorise le garagiste \u00e0 proc\u00e9der \u00e0 une r\u00e9paration majeure et convienne du mode de paiement.<\/p>\n<p>Si le client refuse que le probl\u00e8me soit corrig\u00e9, il est conseill\u00e9 de lui remettre une copie du rappel et de lui faire signer une d\u00e9charge au m\u00eame titre que dans tout autre cas de v\u00e9hicule non s\u00e9curitaire.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_362298\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-362298\" style=\"width: 758px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-362298 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/autosphere.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/AdobeStock_132767237-sign-contract-WP.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"758\" height=\"585\" srcset=\"https:\/\/autosphere.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/AdobeStock_132767237-sign-contract-WP.jpg 758w, https:\/\/autosphere.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/AdobeStock_132767237-sign-contract-WP-300x232.jpg 300w, https:\/\/autosphere.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/AdobeStock_132767237-sign-contract-WP-535x413.jpg 535w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 758px) 100vw, 758px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-362298\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">PHOTO Antonioguillem \/ Adobe Stock<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><strong>Gestion des rappels<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Les rappels \u00e9tant en soi prioritaires, il devrait \u00eatre de bonne pratique de v\u00e9rifier d\u00e8s l\u2019ouverture du bon travail si le v\u00e9hicule en est l\u2019objet, quelle que soit son ann\u00e9e mod\u00e8le. La d\u00e9marche est simple.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Se connecter au site des <a href=\"http:\/\/wwwapps.tc.gc.ca\/Saf-Sec-Sur\/7\/VRDB-BDRV\/search-recherche\/menu.aspx?lang=fra\"><u>rappels<\/u><\/a> de Transports Canada<\/li>\n<li>Identifier la marque, le mod\u00e8le et l\u2019ann\u00e9e<\/li>\n<li>Si le v\u00e9hicule est vis\u00e9, en informer le client, et copier ou imprimer la fiche d\u00e9crivant la nature du rappel et du correctif<\/li>\n<li>V\u00e9rifier avec l\u2019accord du client si le v\u00e9hicule a bien le d\u00e9faut dont il est question<\/li>\n<li>Au besoin, joindre le constructeur par la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de bas de page de la fiche, o\u00f9 sont inscrits son num\u00e9ro de t\u00e9l\u00e9phone et son adresse internet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Beaucoup de probl\u00e8mes d\u2019ordre m\u00e9canique ou informatique peuvent \u00eatre r\u00e9gl\u00e9s sur-le-champ par un garagiste.<\/p>\n<p>Selon Transports Canada, ce n\u2019est cependant que par appel qu\u2019on peut communiquer avec Audi, Infiniti, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mini, Porsche, Suzuki et Volkswagen.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Information de base<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Les rappels \u00e9tant publics, n\u2019importe qui peut consulter rapidement et \u00e0 volont\u00e9 le <a href=\"http:\/\/wwwapps.tc.gc.ca\/Saf-Sec-Sur\/7\/VRDB-BDRV\/search-recherche\/menu.aspx?lang=fra\"><u>site<\/u><\/a>\u00a0de Transports Canada r\u00e9serv\u00e9 \u00e0 cet effet, et pour quelque v\u00e9hicule qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse, avant ou apr\u00e8s achat.<\/p>\n<p>Il est \u00e9galement possible d\u2019y avoir acc\u00e8s par ALEXA en disant \u00ab\u2009<em>Alexa, ouvre Rappels de v\u00e9hicules<\/em>\u2009\u00bb, par le site m\u00eame du constructeur, celui de CARFAX, de CAA-Qu\u00e9bec et, entre autres, de l\u2019OPC.<\/p>\n<p>Au sens de la <em>Loi sur la protection du consommateur,<\/em> il incombe \u00e0 un commer\u00e7ant de v\u00e9hicules d\u2019occasion d\u2019informer l\u2019acheteur que tous les rappels ont \u00e9t\u00e9 faits.<\/p>\n<p>Comme aux \u00c9tats-Unis, quiconque pourra bient\u00f4t savoir par le NIV (num\u00e9ro d\u2019identification du v\u00e9hicule) inscrit sur le tableau de bord ou sur son
