Le 29 avril 2022 marque un nouveau chapitre pour l’usine de montage CAMI de GM Canada \u00e0 Ingersoll, alors que l’entreprise commence \u00e0 r\u00e9am\u00e9nager et \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer la production d\u00e9di\u00e9e<\/a> de camions BridghtDrop, des camions de livraison commerciale enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectriques.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lorsque la production du BrightDrop Zevo 600 commencera au T4 2022, CAMI deviendra la premi\u00e8re usine de montage de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle au Canada. BrightDrop Zero 400, une plus petite version du camion \u00e9lectrique, sera \u00e9galement construit \u00e0 l\u2019usine CAMI \u00e0 compter de 2023.<\/p>\n

\u00ab L’usine de montage CAMI joue un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans la vision de GM pour un avenir sans \u00e9missions \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Marissa West, pr\u00e9sidente et directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de GM Canada. \u00ab Nous pr\u00e9voyons r\u00e9am\u00e9nager notre usine \u00e0 Ingersoll en un temps record pour soutenir le d\u00e9but de la production de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques BrightDrop au Canada avant la fin de l’ann\u00e9e. \u00bb<\/p>\n

CAMI sera pr\u00eate en septembre<\/strong><\/h2>\n

D’ici septembre, l’\u00e9quipe aura pr\u00e9par\u00e9 le b\u00e2timent et install\u00e9 le nouvel \u00e9quipement de production BrightDrop. CAMI pr\u00e9voit commencer \u00e0 rappeler des employ\u00e9s en octobre pour la formation sur la nouvelle gamme. La production du premier BrightDrop Zevo 600 devrait \u00eatre lanc\u00e9e \u00e0 CAMI d\u2019ici la fin de l\u2019ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

BrightDrop a pr\u00e9sentement plus de 25 000 unit\u00e9s de production r\u00e9serv\u00e9es pour que ses camions de livraison \u00e9lectriques servent le march\u00e9 croissant des solutions de livraison \u00e9lectriques, pour certaines des plus grandes entreprises du monde. CAMI pr\u00e9voit augmenter la production \u00e0 deux quarts au d\u00e9but de 2023, avec la possibilit\u00e9 d’en ajouter un troisi\u00e8me, si le march\u00e9 le permet.<\/p>\n
