Ayant obtenu r\u00e9cemment un financement du gouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec et d\u2019Investissement Qu\u00e9bec, Recyclage Lithion continuera de d\u00e9ployer les trois principales phases de son plan d\u2019industrialisation qui pr\u00e9voit la construction et la mise en service de sa premi\u00e8re usine de d\u00e9mant\u00e8lement et broyage de batteries au Qu\u00e9bec en 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le gouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec a inject\u00e9 22,5 millions de dollars dans ce projet, par l\u2019entremise d\u2019Investissement Qu\u00e9bec et par une subvention du Fonds d\u2019\u00e9lectrification et de changements climatiques ; un fonds qui compte d\u2019ailleurs des liens d\u2019affaires avec les fabricants de batteries, dont le constructeur automobile Hyundai.<\/p>\n

Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces nouveaux capitaux, Recycalge Lithion va mettre de l\u2019avant un centre de d\u00e9veloppement technologique de pointe pour d\u00e9velopper en continu la technologie de Lithion pour les sp\u00e9cifications futures de chimies et de mat\u00e9riaux de batteries et l\u2019usine d\u2019hydrom\u00e9tallurgie. En parall\u00e8le, la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 poursuit ses discussions avec des partenaires aux \u00c9tats-Unis et en Europe int\u00e9ress\u00e9s \u00e0 choisir et \u00e0 licencier la solution Lithion pour servir les besoins de leurs march\u00e9s locaux.<\/p>\n

Vers une fili\u00e8re batteries<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Le soutien du gouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec s\u2019inscrit dans sa volont\u00e9 de cr\u00e9er et de d\u00e9velopper la fili\u00e8re batteries au Qu\u00e9bec afin de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la forte demande anticip\u00e9e des mat\u00e9riaux de batteries tout en s\u2019assurant que les batteries en fin de vie soient valoris\u00e9es de fa\u00e7on durable.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous sommes tr\u00e8s heureux de confirmer aujourd\u2019hui la participation du gouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec dans notre projet d\u2019une usine commerciale de revalorisation de batteries lithium-ion et d\u2019un centre de d\u00e9veloppement technologique. L\u2019ambition de Lithion est de fournir \u00e0 l\u2019industrie la technologie la plus durable afin de cr\u00e9er autour des mat\u00e9riaux de batteries un mod\u00e8le d\u2019affaires qui rencontre les principes de l\u2019\u00e9conomie circulaire.
