AkzoNobel a ouvert un nouveau centre mondial de recherche et de d\u00e9veloppement d’une valeur de 10 millions d’euros sur son site de Slough, au Royaume-Uni, qui vient s’ajouter \u00e0 une liste croissante d’installations similaires situ\u00e9es dans le monde entier.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ce centre, qui accueillera 120 sp\u00e9cialistes, constituera un p\u00f4le majeur au sein du r\u00e9seau mondial de R&D de l’entreprise et contribuera \u00e0 faire progresser les capacit\u00e9s d’innovation d’AkzoNobel, notamment dans le domaine des peintures d\u00e9coratives.<\/p>\n

Il s’agit du dernier d’une s\u00e9rie de centres ouverts par AkzoNobel, con\u00e7us pour faire progresser le d\u00e9veloppement de produits pionniers de l’entreprise. Il s’agit notamment d’un site automobile en Pologne, d’un centre de formation aux applications \u00e0 Duba\u00ef, d’un campus d’innovation \u00e0 Felling, au Royaume-Uni, et d’un centre mondial d’innovation, de d\u00e9veloppement et de formation au Qatar pour l’activit\u00e9 Marine Coatings.<\/p>\n

Des produits novateurs<\/strong><\/h2>\n

L’ouverture du site de Slough fait suite \u00e0 l’inauguration en 2019 au Royaume-Uni du campus d’innovation R&D d’AkzoNobel \u00e0 Felling, qui accueille certains des principaux scientifiques et experts techniques de l’entreprise dans le domaine des rev\u00eatements marins et de protection.<\/p>\n

H\u00e9ritage britanniqueen peintures et rev\u00eatements<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Fiona McLachlan, directrice technique couleur d’AkzoNobel, ajoute : \u00ab Nos peintures et rev\u00eatements ont un fort h\u00e9ritage au Royaume-Uni et en Irlande, touchant de nombreux aspects de notre vie quotidienne. Ce centre moderne, adapt\u00e9 aux besoins, perp\u00e9tuera cet h\u00e9ritage \u00e0 l’avenir. Il nous permettra de poursuivre nos contributions de longue date \u00e0 l’industrie des peintures et des rev\u00eatements, tout en contribuant \u00e0 stimuler l’\u00e9conomie locale, tant au niveau r\u00e9gional que national. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Le nouveau centre est situ\u00e9 \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de la Dulux Academy, le fleuron de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, une installation construite \u00e0 cet effet qui, avec 12 autres sites dans les Dulux Decorator Centers et les coll\u00e8ges, offre aux peintres et aux d\u00e9corateurs une expertise pour les aider \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer leurs connaissances et leur compr\u00e9hension des produits, des applications et des techniques.<\/p>\n
