Prochilo, les ateliers devraient effectuer des diagnostics pr\u00e9cis sur la carrosserie, une lecture des mesures en 3D du ch\u00e2ssis et une analyse compl\u00e8te du syst\u00e8me \u00e9lectrique. \u00ab Cette rigueur permettra \u00e0 l\u2019atelier de r\u00e9duire son cycle de r\u00e9paration et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de son travail de m\u00eame que sa profitabilit\u00e9. \u00bb<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Syst\u00e8mes d\u2019aide \u00e0 la conduite (ADAS)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Depuis quelques ann\u00e9es, les syst\u00e8mes d\u2019aide \u00e0 la conduite (ou ADAS pour Advanced driver Assist Systems) ont un impact majeur sur les proc\u00e9dures de r\u00e9paration apr\u00e8s sinistre. Comme il en est question ailleurs dans cette parution, ces syst\u00e8mes sont d\u00e9sormais beaucoup mieux int\u00e9gr\u00e9s avec les syst\u00e8mes m\u00e9caniques, ce qui n\u00e9cessite une interaction plus \u00e9troite et encore mieux coordonn\u00e9e entre les carrossiers et les ateliers de m\u00e9canique, du moins pour les carrossiers qui confient les op\u00e9rations m\u00e9caniques \u00e0 des sous-traitants.<\/p>\n<p>Par ailleurs, les progr\u00e8s ultrarapides de la technologie forcent les carrossiers \u00e0 se doter de \u00ab protocoles pour v\u00e9rifier la validit\u00e9 des diagnostics \u00bb, explique Johnny Kloeckes, pr\u00e9sident de six ateliers CARSTAR en Alberta : CARSTAR Edmonton Gateway, CARSTAR Edmonton South East, CARSTAR Ellerslie, CARSTAR Edmonton Mayfield, CARSTAR Leduc North et CARSTAR Express Edmonton South.s<\/p>\n<p>M. Kloeckes soutient que cela devient de plus en plus crucial \u00e0 mesure qu\u2019\u00e9voluent les syst\u00e8mes ADAS. \u00ab Nous avons utilis\u00e9 diff\u00e9rents logiciels pour la m\u00e9canique et l\u2019estimation, diff\u00e9rentes banques de proc\u00e9dures des constructeurs ainsi que divers outils de diagnostic, mais la cl\u00e9 du succ\u00e8s r\u00e9side bien plus dans la fa\u00e7on de contr\u00f4ler le processus de r\u00e9paration. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Il faut aussi prendre en compte les points communs et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Nick Dominato, premier vice-pr\u00e9sident de Repairify, l\u2019entreprise m\u00e8re d\u2019asTech, explique qu\u2019avec l\u2019ajout constant de dispositifs de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 comme les radars et les capteurs lidars, les ateliers doivent utiliser des outils diff\u00e9rents pour effectuer un \u00e9talonnage pr\u00e9cis. L\u2019investissement peut \u00eatre consid\u00e9rable, et c\u2019est une des raisons invoqu\u00e9es pour demander une plus grande uniformit\u00e9 entre les \u00e9quipements requis et les dispositifs des diff\u00e9rents constructeurs.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Fonctionnalit\u00e9<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>M. Dominato conseille aux ateliers qui se cherchent un outil d\u2019analyse de bien v\u00e9rifier que celui qu\u2019ils choisissent est \u00e0 jour et qu\u2019il est dot\u00e9 de toutes les fonctionnalit\u00e9s recherch\u00e9es. Il propose de se poser les questions suivantes : \u00ab L\u2019outil est-il capable de diagnostiquer les dispositifs sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s dont sont dot\u00e9s les mod\u00e8les 2021 et 2022 ? Fonctionnera-t-il avec les mod\u00e8les de Mercedes Benz ? Peut-il calibrer un capteur dans un pare-brise ou un capteur de poids situ\u00e9 dans un si\u00e8ge ? Peut-il accomplir tout ce qu\u2019on aura besoin de lui faire accomplir ? \u00bb M.
