Ils promettent une formule renouvel\u00e9e et am\u00e9lior\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est \u00e0 cause de l\u2019incertitude d\u00e9coulant de l\u2019\u00e9volution de la situation sanitaire que la Corporation Mobilis, promoteur de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement, a pris la d\u00e9cision de reporter cette \u00e9dition qui \u00e9tait pr\u00e9vue du 8 au 13 mars 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Pour Charles Drouin, chef de la direction de la Corporation Mobilis et directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Salon international de l\u2019auto de Qu\u00e9bec, il s\u2019agit d\u2019une d\u00e9cision qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 difficile \u00e0 prendre.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab En tant que promoteur du troisi\u00e8me plus important \u00e9v\u00e9nement en termes de notori\u00e9t\u00e9 dans la grande r\u00e9gion de Qu\u00e9bec, nous sentions qu\u2019il \u00e9tait de notre responsabilit\u00e9 de prioriser la sant\u00e9 de notre public.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Nous \u00e9tions persuad\u00e9s que nous allions \u00eatre en mesure de pr\u00e9senter le Salon, mais la progression du nouveau variant Omicron soul\u00e8ve trop d\u2019incertitude quant \u00e0 la tenue d\u2019un \u00e9v\u00e9nement qui accueille habituellement 70 000 visiteurs. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Le report du Salon en pr\u00e9sentiel aura un impact \u00e9conomique important pour la grande r\u00e9gion de Qu\u00e9bec puisqu\u2019il g\u00e9n\u00e8re pr\u00e8s de 4,7 millions de dollars de retomb\u00e9es \u00e9conomiques en six jours, notamment 1,2 million de dollars dans le secteur touristique, constate Louis Desmeules, pr\u00e9sident de la Corporation Mobilis.<\/p>\n<p>Les organisateurs vont donc r\u00e9instaurer le Mois du Salon de l\u2019auto pour combler l\u2019app\u00e9tit des passionn\u00e9s d\u2019automobile.<\/p>\n<p>Comme ce fut le cas l\u2019an dernier, du 1<sup>er<\/sup> au 31 mars 2022, le Mois du Salon de l\u2019auto pr\u00e9sentera une plateforme Web qui permettra au public de participer \u00e0 des concours exclusifs, gagner des dizaines de prix et de d\u00e9couvrir les primeurs du monde automobile.<\/p>\n<p>La plateforme pr\u00e9sentera aussi la diffusion d\u2019une programmation sp\u00e9cifique, incluant des capsules vid\u00e9o exclusives.
