Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 en m\u00e9canique automobile, en conseil et vente de pi\u00e8ces et en service-conseil, M. Bergeron a travaill\u00e9 dans plusieurs grands centres de pneus avant de se tourner vers l\u2019enseignement. Un choix qu\u2019il n\u2019a jamais regrett\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Comme dans un atelier<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Mon objectif est de faire de mon lieu d\u2019enseignement un endroit qui s\u2019apparente le plus possible \u00e0 ce que les dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s vont retrouver dans un magasin de pi\u00e8ces ou au d\u00e9partement des pi\u00e8ces chez les concessionnaires. Ainsi, nous avons cr\u00e9\u00e9 un comptoir de pi\u00e8ces o\u00f9 les \u00e9tudiants peuvent se familiariser avec les concepts que nous enseignons. L\u2019offre de GEM-CAR m\u2019a tout de suite int\u00e9ress\u00e9e, car \u00e7a va exactement dans le sens de donner acc\u00e8s aux \u00e9tudiants \u00e0 des syst\u00e8mes de gestion qu\u2019ils vont retrouver dans l\u2019industrie automobile.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>En fait, le centre de formation utilise le logiciel pour cr\u00e9er des fiches clients o\u00f9 les \u00e9tudiants peuvent suivre l\u2019historique du v\u00e9hicule. Le centre d\u2019\u00e9tudes s\u2019en sert aussi pour facturer les pi\u00e8ces demand\u00e9es par les enseignants et les \u00e9tudiants (le service n\u2019est pas offert au grand public) n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 l\u2019entretien de leur propre v\u00e9hicule. Un entretien qui peut se faire sur place puisque le Centre d\u2019\u00e9tudes professionnelles de Saint-J\u00e9r\u00f4me offre aussi des formations en m\u00e9canique automobile et en carrosserie.<\/p>\n<p>Avec un magasin de pi\u00e8ces et des conseillers en formation pour l\u2019animer, des \u00e9tudiants supervis\u00e9s par des enseignants en mesure de r\u00e9parer et d\u2019entretenir des v\u00e9hicules, on comprend comment ce centre de formation a recr\u00e9\u00e9 un milieu d\u2019apprentissage calqu\u00e9 sur la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 du march\u00e9 du travail.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Un m\u00e9tier m\u00e9connu<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>M. Bergeron revient sur la formation en conseiller en vente de pi\u00e8ces pour signaler comment ce poste gagnerait \u00e0 \u00eatre mieux connu par les ateliers. \u00ab C\u2019est une personne dans un poste pivot, entre les techniciens et le client, explique l\u2019enseignant. Elle est responsable des inventaires de pi\u00e8ces, mais peut aussi conseiller le client ou les techniciens lors d\u2019une r\u00e9paration. Les conseillers aux pi\u00e8ces form\u00e9s au CEP se retrouvent dans les magasins de pi\u00e8ces automobiles, mais le cours est \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle motoris\u00e9e, ce qui implique qu\u2019un conseiller ou une conseill\u00e8re aux pi\u00e8ces peut travailler dans le domaine r\u00e9cr\u00e9atif, v\u00e9hicules lourds, marine, aviation ou comme magasinier ; cela explique pourquoi nous investissons beaucoup dans le savoir-\u00eatre avec nos \u00e9tudiants. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>La formation dure 10 mois pour un total de 1095 heures, dont 234 en stages dans cinq ateliers ou concessions. \u00ab\u00a0C\u2019est une tr\u00e8s bonne formation de base et une valeur ajout\u00e9e pour tout atelier.
