Beaudoin a tenu \u00e0 discuter avec des gestionnaires d\u2019ateliers de plusieurs r\u00e9gions du Qu\u00e9bec, sachant que ce qui est v\u00e9cu en ville ne se refl\u00e8te pas de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re en r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>R\u00e9duire les heures<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0La pand\u00e9mie a frapp\u00e9 lors de la saison printani\u00e8re de changement de pneus, se rem\u00e9more l\u2019expert. Les ateliers et centres de pneus ont d\u00fb tout de suite revoir leurs horaires et communiquer avec leurs clients. Heureusement, selon les t\u00e9moignages que j\u2019ai recueillis, ces derniers se sont montr\u00e9s tr\u00e8s coop\u00e9ratifs et compr\u00e9hensifs.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Un impact ressenti dans toutes les r\u00e9gions a \u00e9t\u00e9 la r\u00e9duction des capacit\u00e9s d\u2019accueil dans les salles d\u2019attente.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Passer de 60 places \u00e0 six a demand\u00e9 un bon sens de la d\u00e9brouillardise. Un atelier donnait des cartons num\u00e9rot\u00e9s \u00e0 placer sur la pare-brise pour attendre \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur sans perdre sa place\u00a0\u00bb, illustre M. Beaudoin.<\/p>\n<p>Les navettes et v\u00e9hicules de courtoisies ont d\u00fb \u00eatre adapt\u00e9s aussi avec un protocole de d\u00e9sinfection et de s\u00e9parateurs.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019int\u00e9rieur des commerces a vu appara\u00eetre des fl\u00e8ches et autres panneaux signalant les distances \u00e0 respecter ou les directions \u00e0 suivre.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Heureusement notre industrie a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnue comme essentielle et contrairement aux restaurants, le personnel n\u2019a pas perdu son emploi tr\u00e8s longtemps, constate-t-il. \u00c9videmment, les ateliers ont r\u00e9duit leurs \u00e9quipes, mais nous \u00e9tions d\u00e9j\u00e0 en p\u00e9riode de raret\u00e9 de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre, alors l\u2019impact a \u00e9t\u00e9 moindre.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<h2><strong>G\u00e9rer les rendez-vous<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Pierre Beaudoin a aussi observ\u00e9 que la r\u00e9duction des heures d\u2019activit\u00e9 a permis de faire souffler les \u00e9quipes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0La nouvelle fa\u00e7on de g\u00e9rer les rendez-vous a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de vie des travailleurs. Plusieurs gestionnaires d\u2019ateliers me disent qu\u2019ils ne reviendront pas en arri\u00e8re. La planification des rendez-vous, en priorisant les clients qui leur confient l\u2019entreposage de leurs pneus par exemple, va contribuer \u00e0 limiter les heures d\u2019ouverture m\u00eame apr\u00e8s la crise sanitaire.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Il constate d\u2019ailleurs que certains ateliers ont g\u00e9r\u00e9 les rendez-vous et les demandes d\u2019assistance routi\u00e8re de la maison.<\/p>\n<p>Ces postes pourraient tr\u00e8s bien continuer d\u2019\u00eatre g\u00e9r\u00e9s de la maison.<\/p>\n<p>Parlant rendez-vous, la pand\u00e9mie a vu exploser l\u2019utilisation des plateformes de prises de rendez-vous en ligne.<\/p>\n<p>Les ateliers et centres de pneus qui les ont d\u00e9couverts ou red\u00e9couverts ne s\u2019en passeraient plus.<\/p>\n<p>Les outils de communications avec les clients ont aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 modernis\u00e9s s\u2019ils n\u2019\u00e9taient pas \u00e0 la fine pointe avant la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9changes de textos ou encore les rencontres virtuelles, avec les clients ou entre membres de l\u2019\u00e9quipe, vont certainement continuer \u00e0 \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Chasse \u00e0 la grippe<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Je constate aussi que les bouteilles de d\u00e9sinfectant et les s\u00e9parateurs au comptoir sont l\u00e0 pour rester. Leur pr\u00e9sence a eu un impact direct sur l\u2019absence des travailleurs pour cause de maladie.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Ces pratiques sanitaires ont barr\u00e9 le chemin \u00e0 bien des virus courants et bact\u00e9ries n\u00e9fastes au-del\u00e0 de la COVID-19 et ses variants.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Ce que j\u2019apprends aussi c\u2019est que les ateliers vont ajuster leurs programmes d\u2019entretien pr\u00e9ventif, observe M. Beaudoin. Les voitures ne roulent plus autant qu\u2019avant. M\u00eame avec la reprise des activit\u00e9s, la raret\u00e9 des voitures neuves va contribuer \u00e0 ce que les gens conservent leurs v\u00e9hicules plus longtemps. C\u2019est un heureux probl\u00e8me pour nos ateliers.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>M.
