Qu\u2019en est-il exactement ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Promouvoir le meilleur repr\u00e9sentant de l\u2019\u00e9quipe au poste de directeur des ventes est une d\u00e9cision qui, tr\u00e8s souvent, s\u2019av\u00e8re catastrophique pour l\u2019employeur.<\/p>\n<p>En effet, trop de dirigeants croient encore aujourd\u2019hui qu\u2019un vendeur \u00e0 succ\u00e8s sera tout aussi performant dans un poste de gestion. \u00c0 cet effet, il ne faut pas confondre comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re de vente et comp\u00e9tences en gestion des ventes.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>L\u2019individu ou l\u2019\u00e9quipe ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Tout concessionnaire \u00e0 l\u2019aff\u00fbt du rendement de l\u2019\u00e9quipe comprend que les aptitudes n\u00e9cessaires pour g\u00e9rer diff\u00e8rent de celles qui entra\u00eenent l\u2019excellence en termes de ventes.<\/p>\n<p>En tant que directeur des ventes, il est indispensable de recruter des conseillers qui aiment vendre, d\u2019accompagner les repr\u00e9sentants, de maintenir la motivation, de savoir d\u00e9l\u00e9guer et de tenir les vendeurs responsables de leurs actions.<\/p>\n<p>Rien de moins !<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019oppos\u00e9, rappelez-vous qu\u2019un vendeur qui se d\u00e9marque pr\u00e9sente souvent un c\u00f4t\u00e9 individualiste tr\u00e8s prononc\u00e9, comparativement au caract\u00e8re rassembleur et aidant du gestionnaire des ventes \u00e0 succ\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<p>Certes, le repr\u00e9sentant promu \u00e0 titre de directeur des ventes est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00e0 l\u2019aise pour prodiguer des techniques de vente, mais dans ce contexte, son d\u00e9sir de r\u00e9ussir et son ADN constituent des \u00e9l\u00e9ments non transf\u00e9rables d\u2019une personne \u00e0 l\u2019autre, de surcro\u00eet \u00e0 partir d\u2019une simple formation portant uniquement sur les techniques de vente.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Le respect avant l\u2019argent<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Pour m\u00e9riter ce poste, il faut \u00e9galement noter que le directeur des ventes doit gagner le respect et la confiance de sa troupe.<\/p>\n<p>Or, m\u00eame si l\u2019employ\u00e9 h\u00e9ritant de ce titre vient de la force de vente, \u00e7a n\u2019y change rien.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019ailleurs, c\u2019est souvent la situation inverse qui se produit : le vendeur peut perdre la cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 qu\u2019il a acquise gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses performances en vente.<\/p>\n<p>Par ailleurs, il semble irr\u00e9aliste de penser que votre meilleur vendeur pourra maintenir ses ventes tout en agissant comme directeur de ce service.<\/p>\n<p>Vous devrez avoir un ou plusieurs conseillers qui compenseront les revenus que votre nouveau directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9rait en tant que vendeur \u00e9m\u00e9rite. Le poste de directeur des ventes \u00e9tant \u00e0 temps plein, il fait aussi ressortir l\u2019importance de savoir comment et quand d\u00e9l\u00e9guer, ce qui n\u2019est pas \u00e0 la port\u00e9e de tous.<\/p>\n<p>En outre, il ne peut non plus s\u2019agir que d\u2019une question de salaire.
