Fond\u00e9 il y a maintenant 35 ans, le Groupe Del Vasto s\u2019est taill\u00e9 une place de choix dans le march\u00e9 secondaire automobile.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tout a d\u00e9but\u00e9 en 1986 alors que John Del Vasto, m\u00e9canicien de formation, fonde l\u2019entreprise lors de l\u2019achat, avec deux associ\u00e9s, du distributeur de pi\u00e8ces automobiles Entreposage Jarry \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n

Il avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 peaufin\u00e9 ses talents d\u2019homme d\u2019affaires en g\u00e9rant successivement un garage d\u2019\u00e9quipements lourds, une station-service et un magasin de pi\u00e8ces d\u2019autos.<\/p>\n

Concentr\u00e9e au d\u00e9part dans la distribution de pi\u00e8ces, l\u2019entreprise se diversifie graduellement en ouvrant des magasins de pi\u00e8ces, puis en greffant \u00e0 sa marque des banni\u00e8res et franchises d\u2019ateliers. Le Groupe Del Vasto englobe donc Vast-Auto Distribution ainsi que le franchiseur Groupe MMO.<\/p>\n

Un r\u00e9seau solide<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Aujourd\u2019hui, Vast-Auto Distribution<\/a> compte huit entrep\u00f4ts dans l\u2019Est du Canada, soit au Qu\u00e9bec, en Ontario et dans les Maritimes, qui approvisionnent son r\u00e9seau de magasins, principalement g\u00e9r\u00e9s par des entrepreneurs autonomes.<\/p>\n

Comprenant l\u2019importance de cr\u00e9er un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me entre la distribution et la prestation de services d\u2019entretien automobiles, Vast-Auto Distribution fonde le Groupe MMO en 1999 et celui-ci acqui\u00e8re les droits des franchiseurs Monsieur Muffler et OCTO Auto Service Plus.<\/p>\n

Cette offre de franchises vient s\u2019ajouter \u00e0 la banni\u00e8re Auto Value, obtenue lorsque le Groupe conclut une entente de partenariat avec Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance.<\/p>\n

Au total, le Groupe Del Vasto compte aujourd\u2019hui quelque 350 ateliers dans son giron, regroup\u00e9s sous les couleurs de Monsieur Muffler, OCTO, Monsieur Transmission, Auto Value Centre de Services certifi\u00e9 et Auto M\u00e9cano.<\/p>\n

Soulignons que Monsieur Muffler c\u00e9l\u00e8bre cette ann\u00e9e ses 65 ans, alors qu\u2019OCTO Auto Service Plus franchit le cap des 50 ans ! Des jalons importants t\u00e9moignant de la solidit\u00e9 de ces marques.<\/p>\n

Pour John Del Vasto, l\u2019association avec Alliance, un des plus importants regroupements d\u2019achat de pi\u00e8ces automobiles en Am\u00e9rique du Nord, permettait de bien se positionner sur un march\u00e9 tr\u00e8s comp\u00e9titif.<\/p>\n

Une approche familiale<\/strong><\/h5>\n

\u00ab Ce dont je suis particuli\u00e8rement content est d\u2019avoir pu construire une organisation o\u00f9 un lien direct facilite les op\u00e9rations entre la distribution et les ateliers d\u2019installation, explique M. Del Vasto.<\/p>\n

Comme tient \u00e0 le souligner M. Del Vasto, les 35 ans du Groupe Del Vasto ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ponctu\u00e9s d\u2019investissements, d\u2019acquisition et d\u2019alliances strat\u00e9giques qui lui ont permis de devenir un joueur important dans l\u2019industrie automobile canadienne.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Cependant, tout cela n\u2019aurait pas \u00e9t\u00e9 possible sans les gens extraordinaires qui ont fait grandir l\u2019entreprise. Nous demeurons une entreprise familiale, avec des valeurs que nous partageons avec les 400 personnes qui \u0153uvrent aujourd\u2019hui au sein de notre organisation.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous avons tiss\u00e9 des liens \u00e9troits avec des fournisseurs de longue date qui sont aussi associ\u00e9s \u00e0 notre succ\u00e8s. \u00bb<\/p>\n

C\u2019est sur cette base que Mauro Cifelli<\/a>, pr\u00e9sident du Groupe Del Vasto depuis 2018, appuie les efforts de d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019entreprise.<\/p>\n
