Il a ainsi \u00e9t\u00e9 aux premi\u00e8res loges pour voir l\u2019\u00e9volution du domaine et la complexification des processus de r\u00e9paration.<\/p>\n<p>Comme il le mentionne, ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 dans le domaine de la carrosserie depuis 1990, il a mis un point d\u2019honneur \u00e0 toujours se former, car faute d\u2019\u00e9voluer on est rapidement d\u00e9pass\u00e9 dans ce secteur o\u00f9 l\u2019innovation est un d\u00e9fi constant.<\/p>\n<p>Pour lui, l\u2019estimation est \u00e9videmment une \u00e9tape tr\u00e8s importante dans le travail du carrossier puisqu\u2019elle sera le point de d\u00e9part des activit\u00e9s qui suivront.<\/p>\n<p>Avec justement l\u2019\u00e9volution des technologies et la multiplication des capteurs dans les voitures modernes, l\u2019\u00e9tape d\u2019estimation est essentielle pour savoir exactement le travail qui doit \u00eatre fait sur la voiture qui nous est confi\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0L\u2019objectif est que l\u2019assur\u00e9 retourne avec son v\u00e9hicule en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Il est important pour lui de commencer par parler avec l\u2019assur\u00e9 pour mieux comprendre les circonstances de l\u2019accident. Ensuite, il recommande un bon lavage du v\u00e9hicule afin de bien voir les dommages et pouvoir bien les documenter pour l\u2019assureur.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Et il faut obligatoirement faire un balayage des donn\u00e9es \u00e9lectroniques des syst\u00e8mes du v\u00e9hicule, reprend M. Bennett. Le scanneur va nous indiquer les dommages cach\u00e9s et pourra \u00e9tablir s\u2019ils sont reli\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019accident. Ce processus va aussi \u00e9liminer les malentendus.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<h5><strong>La qualit\u00e9 des photos<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Quand on demande \u00e0 M. Bennett quels sont les probl\u00e8mes les plus fr\u00e9quents rencontr\u00e9s lors de la soumission d\u2019une estimation \u00e0 l\u2019assureur, il indique, en premier lieu, la qualit\u00e9 des photos.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Souvent les photos soumises font face aux dommages, explique-t-il. Il faut bien s\u00fbr s\u2019assurer que le v\u00e9hicule a \u00e9t\u00e9 nettoy\u00e9 et les photos devraient \u00eatre prises en angle, ce qui rend les dommages plus apparents.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Un autre point de friction peut \u00eatre au niveau de la s\u00e9lection des pi\u00e8ces. Selon lui, en suivant les normes et processus, le carrossier pourra s\u2019assurer qu\u2019il inclut dans son estimation la bonne pi\u00e8ce.<\/p>\n<p>En ce qui concerne le type de pi\u00e8ce \u00e0 utiliser, les carrossiers travaillent habituellement avec les moteurs de recherche sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 chaque assureur. Mais dans certains cas, une autre recherche permettra de trouver des pi\u00e8ces d\u2019origine dont le prix \u00e9quivaut \u00e0 celui des pi\u00e8ces de remplacement.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0\u00c7a demande un peu plus de travail pour l\u2019estimateur, mais \u00e7a peut \u00eatre int\u00e9ressant, car, sans rien enlever aux pi\u00e8ces de remplacement, le travail avec une pi\u00e8ce d\u2019origine est souvent plus simple.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Ceci \u00e9tant dit, M. Bennett rappelle qu\u2019il est toujours plus profitable pour un atelier de carrosserie de r\u00e9parer des pi\u00e8ces que de les remplacer.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Conserver la pi\u00e8ce d\u2019origine pr\u00e9sente plusieurs avantages, ne serait-ce que dans la pr\u00e9paration. Souvent, il n\u2019est pas n\u00e9cessaire de la d\u00e9monter pour la r\u00e9parer. Mais il y a une tendance au remplacement, car le travail peut se faire alors plus rapidement.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Pour les ateliers, le d\u00e9fi est d\u2019avoir des techniciens bien form\u00e9s afin de pouvoir proposer une solution de r\u00e9paration.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Un bon estimateur<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Comme le souligne M. Bennett, il est tr\u00e8s important que l\u2019estimateur de l\u2019atelier mette constamment \u00e0 jour ses connaissances.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Il doit \u00eatre au courant des normes du GAA et suivre les avanc\u00e9es technologiques. Je conseille qu\u2019il entretienne ses relations avec l\u2019assureur et qu\u2019il n\u2019h\u00e9site pas \u00e0 poser des questions, photos \u00e0 l\u2019appui, s\u2019il a un doute. Le secret, en plus des techniques, c\u2019est la cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 de l\u2019estimateur aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019assureur.
