Cela a eu un impact sur les temps de cycle, les temps de contact et d\u2019autres indicateurs cl\u00e9s de performance tels que la dur\u00e9e de location (LOR).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le rapport de donn\u00e9es sur la dur\u00e9e de location d\u2019Entreprise Rent-a-Car pour le premier trimestre\u00a02021 a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 des r\u00e9sultats int\u00e9ressants au Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Selon le rapport, le nombre moyen de jours factur\u00e9s pour les v\u00e9hicules de location couverts par une assurance apr\u00e8s une collision au 1er trimestre \u00e9tait de 11,1 jours \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle nationale, ce qui repr\u00e9sente une baisse de 1,7 jour par rapport \u00e0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode en 2020 (12,8 jours).<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Le Qu\u00e9bec conna\u00eet la plus faible variation<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>En ce qui concerne les provinces (les donn\u00e9es n\u2019\u00e9taient pas disponibles pour les provinces avec une assurance publique \u2013 Colombie-Britannique, Manitoba et Saskatchewan), le plus grand changement entre le T1 de 2020 et celui de cette ann\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 vu en Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Ontario a vu le nombre moyen de jours factur\u00e9s passer de 14,4 \u00e0 12,2. Fait int\u00e9ressant, parmi toutes les provinces pour lesquelles des donn\u00e9es \u00e9taient disponibles, l\u2019Ontario affiche syst\u00e9matiquement le plus grand nombre de jours moyens factur\u00e9s pour les v\u00e9hicules de location.<\/p>\n<p>La deuxi\u00e8me plus forte baisse a \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9e \u00e0 Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, o\u00f9 le nombre moyen de jours factur\u00e9s a diminu\u00e9 de 1,9 entre le premier trimestre de cette ann\u00e9e et le dernier (11,9 contre 13,8 en 2020).<\/p>\n<p>Bien que les donn\u00e9es de chaque province analys\u00e9e montrent une baisse du nombre moyen de jours factur\u00e9s pour la location de v\u00e9hicules au T1 2021 par rapport \u00e0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode l\u2019ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, l\u2019\u00cele-du-Prince-\u00c9douard a enregistr\u00e9 la plus faible baisse, soit 0,7 jour. Cependant, c\u2019est aussi dans cette province que le nombre de jours de location factur\u00e9s a \u00e9t\u00e9 le plus faible (8,7 au T1 2021 et 9,4 au T1 2020).<\/p>\n<p>Les autres provinces o\u00f9 le nombre moyen de jours factur\u00e9s est le plus faible sont le Nouveau-Brunswick et le Qu\u00e9bec, tous deux ex aequo avec 10,1 jours au premier trimestre de 2021 (le Qu\u00e9bec a connu une baisse d\u2019un jour par rapport \u00e0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode en 2021 et le Nouveau-Brunswick, de 1,8 jour).<\/p>\n<p>Si l\u2019on examine les raisons de la baisse de la moyenne g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des jours factur\u00e9s pour la location de v\u00e9hicules, plusieurs facteurs sont en jeu. Avec le d\u00e9but des confinements provinciaux et des consignes de rester \u00e0 la maison, la circulation des v\u00e9hicules et donc le taux d\u2019accidents ont diminu\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le nombre de r\u00e9clamations r\u00e9parables ayant diminu\u00e9, les centres de carrosserie \u00e9taient en mesure d\u2019effectuer le travail plus rapidement. Les temps de cycle ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9duits et les clients ont pass\u00e9 moins de temps dans des v\u00e9hicules de location, ce qui a permis de r\u00e9duire le nombre de jours moyens factur\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>V\u00e9hicules pouvant \u00eatre conduits ou non<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>En ce qui concerne les r\u00e9parations de v\u00e9hicules pouvant \u00eatre conduits, le rapport montre que, parmi les provinces pour lesquelles des donn\u00e9es \u00e9taient disponibles, l\u2019Ontario a connu la plus forte baisse par rapport au premier trimestre\u00a02020, avec 2,2 jours, et le Qu\u00e9bec les plus faibles, avec 0,3 jour.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que des baisses aient \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9es pour les v\u00e9hicules ne pouvant pas \u00eatre conduits par rapport au T1 2020, ces baisses ont \u00e9t\u00e9 plus prononc\u00e9es, avec moins de r\u00e9parations de ce type de v\u00e9hicules, ce qui a entra\u00een\u00e9 des baisses importantes de la dur\u00e9e de vie correspondante.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Ontario a encore une fois enregistr\u00e9 la plus forte baisse des locations pour des v\u00e9hicules ne pouvant pas \u00eatre conduits au T1 2021 par rapport \u00e0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode l\u2019ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, soit 2,7 jours. PHOTO Huw Evans<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Les informations du rapport\u00a02021\u00a0Q1 ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9es par Ryan Mandell, directeur du conseil en mati\u00e8re de performance chez Mitchell International.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u2009Le volume des sinistres r\u00e9parables a consid\u00e9rablement diminu\u00e9 en janvier et f\u00e9vrier par rapport \u00e0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode en 2020 (33\u00a0% en janvier 2021 et 24\u00a0% en f\u00e9vrier 2021), ce qui a conduit \u00e0 la capacit\u00e9 de r\u00e9aliser des r\u00e9parations dans des d\u00e9lais plus courts\u2009\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Mandell.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u2009Le pourcentage de r\u00e9parations de v\u00e9hicules ne pouvant pas \u00eatre conduits au Canada a \u00e9galement l\u00e9g\u00e8rement baiss\u00e9, passant de 23,62\u00a0% au Q12020 \u00e0 23,55\u00a0% au Q1 2021.\u2009\u00bb<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Pertes totales<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Dans l\u2019ensemble, la fr\u00e9quence des pertes totales a continu\u00e9 d\u2019augmenter entre le T1 2020 et le T1 2021, gagnant 1,9 jour moyen (jusqu\u2019\u00e0 21,5 jours contre 20,6 au T1 2020).<\/p>\n<p>Selon M.\u00a0Mandell, les v\u00e9hicules plus r\u00e9cents, plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment ceux \u00e2g\u00e9s de 0 \u00e0 3 ans, ont connu la plus forte augmentation des pertes totales au cours de la p\u00e9riode, en particulier en Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u2009Les v\u00e9hicules plus r\u00e9cents peuvent avoir moins d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments de comparaison disponibles sur le march\u00e9 qui correspondent \u00e9troitement aux options du v\u00e9hicule sinistr\u00e9, cr\u00e9ant ainsi une situation o\u00f9 le r\u00e8glement peut \u00eatre retard\u00e9, car davantage de n\u00e9gociations entre l\u2019assureur et le client peuvent \u00eatre n\u00e9cessaires\u2009\u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>M. Mandell a \u00e9galement soulign\u00e9 que l\u2019augmentation globale du taux d\u2019indemnisation en Ontario \u00e9tait probablement le r\u00e9sultat d\u2019une augmentation du nombre total de sinistres dans la province. Le premier trimestre 2021 a vu un ratio de pertes totales de 25,3 %, ce qui est le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 de tous les trimestres au cours des 5 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u2009Le volume suppl\u00e9mentaire aurait un impact sur la capacit\u00e9 des assureurs \u00e0 traiter toutes les r\u00e9clamations pour pertes totales jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la cl\u00f4ture avec la m\u00eame efficacit\u00e9.\u2009\u00bb<\/p>\n<h5><strong>L\u2019avenir<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Il est difficile de pr\u00e9voir comment les choses vont \u00e9voluer \u00e0 l\u2019avenir. Actuellement, l\u2019industrie automobile est confront\u00e9e \u00e0 un certain nombre de vents contraires, depuis la p\u00e9nurie de microprocesseurs qui affecte la production de nouveaux v\u00e9hicules et la fabrication de pi\u00e8ces, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la demande croissante de v\u00e9hicules neufs et d\u2019occasion.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, comme les confinements devraient \u00eatre lev\u00e9s, il est difficile de pr\u00e9voir l\u2019\u00e9volution des r\u00e9clamations et des r\u00e9parations de carrosserie<\/p>\n<p>Si les volumes de trafic augmentent et, avec eux, les LOR, nous pourrions voir une augmentation du nombre moyen de jours factur\u00e9s, mais il est peu probable que nous assistions de sit\u00f4t \u00e0 un retour aux chiffres d\u2019avant la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Au Canada, les confinements en cours ont consid\u00e9rablement r\u00e9duit l\u2019activit\u00e9 de nombreux centres de carrosserie.
