Cela \u00e9vite l\u2019achat d\u2019un nouveau v\u00e9hicule, c\u2019est plus \u00e9conomique et \u00e9cologique. \u00bb<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Un cadre l\u00e9gislatif<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>La Commission europ\u00e9enne a adopt\u00e9 un cadre juridique obligeant les constructeurs de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 n\u2019utiliser, \u00e0 partir de 2024, que des batteries dont on peut \u00e9tablir l\u2019empreinte \u00e9cologique, et qu\u2019on pourra ensuite recycler.<\/p>\n<p>La prochaine phase r\u00e9glementaire obligerait un certain pourcentage de mat\u00e9riaux recycl\u00e9s dans la fabrication de v\u00e9hicules neufs, incluant la batterie. PHOTO Recyclage Lithion<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u00ab L\u2019aboutissement d\u2019une r\u00e9flexion vers le choix \u00e9lectrique doit prendre tous les \u00e9l\u00e9ments en consid\u00e9ration, notamment le volet \u00e9conomique. Les gestionnaires de parc sont sensibles \u00e0 l\u2019impact environnemental qu\u2019auront ces batteries en fin de vie. Et \u00e0 ce chapitre, le Qu\u00e9bec est tr\u00e8s bien positionn\u00e9. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019entreprise qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise compte lancer la construction d\u2019une premi\u00e8re usine commerciale au Qu\u00e9bec en 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Elle valide en ce moment sa technologie hydrom\u00e9tallurgique permettant de retirer des batteries 95 % de ses composantes par un processus tr\u00e8s \u00e9cologique. Ces mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res peuvent ensuite entrer dans la fabrication de nouvelles batteries.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Hyundai dit oui<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>La d\u00e9marche est appuy\u00e9e par le gouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec, mais aussi par l\u2019industrie.<\/p>\n<p>Plusieurs constructeurs majeurs sont int\u00e9ress\u00e9s par cette technologie et au-del\u00e0 des simples discussions Hyundai Canada passait une entente en mars dernier avec Recyclage Lithion pour le recyclage des batteries de ses v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques et hybrides.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Le d\u00e9veloppement des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques est l\u2019une de nos priorit\u00e9s depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es. PHOTO Hyundai Canada<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u00ab Par cons\u00e9quent, nous devons \u00eatre proactifs et d\u00e9velopper un mod\u00e8le d\u2019\u00e9limination durable de ces batteries en fin de vie. \u00bb<\/p>\n<h5><strong>S\u2019approcher des march\u00e9s<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Le plan de d\u00e9veloppement commercial de Lithion est de se servir du Qu\u00e9bec comme vitrine de sa technologie.<\/p>\n<p>Une usine au Qu\u00e9bec pourrait \u00eatre suivie d\u2019ententes avec des op\u00e9rateurs ind\u00e9pendants ailleurs en Am\u00e9rique du Nord, voire outre-mer.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Le facteur de transport est n\u00e9vralgique quand on parle de batteries \u00e0 recycler, ne serait-ce que par le poids, reprend M. Lambert. Il faut \u00eatre pr\u00e8s des march\u00e9s.
