PHOTO Volvo Cars<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h5><strong>Des diff\u00e9rences notables<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Bien que Volvo ait annonc\u00e9 qu&rsquo;elle s&rsquo;engageait \u00e0 proposer des v\u00e9hicules rechargeables, hybrides et \u00e9lectriques exclusivement \u00e0 partir de 2019, la recharge XC40 repr\u00e9sente la premi\u00e8re incursion de la marque dans le segment des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batterie (\u00e0 l&rsquo;exclusion des offres Polestar). Bien qu&rsquo;elle partage son architecture avec le moteur \u00e0 combustion interne ordinaire XC40, il existe quelques diff\u00e9rences notables.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;architecture modulaire compacte, ou CMA, qui sous-tend ce v\u00e9hicule, a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e par Volvo en collaboration avec sa soci\u00e9t\u00e9 m\u00e8re Geely et a permis \u00e0 la marque su\u00e9doise haut de gamme de cr\u00e9er un v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 batterie efficace. Par rapport au XC40 ordinaire, la version Recharge pr\u00e9sente une zone de d\u00e9formation avant redessin\u00e9e avec une structure de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 renforc\u00e9e puisqu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas de moteur devant le pare-feu.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, une cage de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 en aluminium extrud\u00e9 est situ\u00e9e au centre de la structure monocoque du v\u00e9hicule, qui comprend \u00e9galement une zone de d\u00e9formation con\u00e7ue pour prot\u00e9ger le syst\u00e8me de batterie en cas de choc lat\u00e9ral, frontal ou arri\u00e8re. Et en installant la batterie de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 ce qu&rsquo;elle soit suspendue \u00e0 travers le plancher, les ing\u00e9nieurs de Volvo ont pu abaisser le centre de gravit\u00e9, am\u00e9liorant ainsi la stabilit\u00e9 directionnelle et la maniabilit\u00e9 par rapport aux multisegments et VUS plus traditionnels.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Moteurs avant et arri\u00e8re<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>En termes de motivation, le XC40 Recharge est propuls\u00e9 par deux moteurs \u00e9lectriques qui transmettent la puissance aux roues avant et arri\u00e8re. Selon Volvo, combin\u00e9 au syst\u00e8me de batterie lithium-ion de 78 kW, le XC 40 Recharge peut couvrir une distance de 335 km avant d&rsquo;avoir besoin d&rsquo;\u00eatre recharg\u00e9 et, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un chargeur rapide approuv\u00e9, il peut reconstituer 80 % de son \u00e9nergie en 40 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que le XC40 Recharge soit une transmission int\u00e9grale, \u00e0 des vitesses d&rsquo;autoroute, le couple est envoy\u00e9 vers l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re afin de r\u00e9duire la consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie de la batterie et de maximiser l&rsquo;autonomie. Et \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 que les moteurs \u00e9lectriques produisent un couple maximal \u00e0 z\u00e9ro r\u00e9gime, la puissance \u00e9quivalente du XC40 Recharge, soit 408 chevaux et un couple de 486 lb-pi, devrait permettre une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration rapide comme celle d&rsquo;une voiture de sport.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur, le XC40 Recharge se distingue de son homologue conventionnel par une prise de calandre distinctive, tandis qu&rsquo;en ouvrant le capot, on d\u00e9couvre un joli coffre avant ou \u00ab frunk \u00bb dans un moule similaire \u00e0 celui des Tesla et de la nouvelle Ford Mustang Mach-E.<\/p>\n<p>En fait, l&rsquo;espace de rangement est un des principaux arguments de vente du XC40 Recharge, puisqu&rsquo;il dispose \u00e9galement d&rsquo;astucieux bacs de rangement dans les portes, le coffre et sous les si\u00e8ges. En fait, avec les si\u00e8ges arri\u00e8re rabattus \u00e0 plat, il avalera 1 328 litres de bagages ou de marchandises dans le coffre, ce qui prouve que le fait d&rsquo;avoir un groupe motopropulseur enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectrique ne signifie plus un s\u00e9rieux compromis en mati\u00e8re de capacit\u00e9 de bagages.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Nouveau syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;infodivertissement<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Outre le groupe motopropulseur, le XC40 Recharge P8 est \u00e9galement le premier Volvo \u00e0 \u00eatre \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;un nouveau syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;infodivertissement fonctionnant sous Android.
