On Friday December 13, NAFA Ontario hosted its annual holiday luncheon at the prestigious Glenerin Inn & Spa in Mississauga, Ont.
Approximately 100 registered attendees took part in the annual luncheon, which provides fleet professionals from different companies and sectors within the industry to come together, network and support a good cause.
Each year, for the last six years, the Ontario chapter organizes a toy drive and members generously donate children’s toys to CP24.
According to the association’s Jennifer Chapman, the event, which has been held at Glenerin for the last six years, has grown from 25 attendees to 100 today. The toy drive started about the same time and this year, approximately 150 toys were donated. “We focus on toys for those children 18 months and younger and teenagers, which tend to be the groups that often get left out this time of year,” said Chapman.
She also said that NAFA’s membership is growing in Ontario and that the executive committee and the association are very much looking forward to 2020 with a complete event schedule to come, including the annual auto show event in February.
