Kia Canada is announcing pricing for two electric vehicle (EV) models in time for the Federal Government’s new incentives.

Kia Canada is the only automotive brand to offer two distinct electric models in one lineup.  The pricing for the 2019 Kia Niro EV and the 2020 Kia Soul EV was announced on the same day that the Federal Government announced new incentives with the purchase of a zero-emissions vehicle (iZEV), with both Kia models meeting the requirements of the new regulations.

The two EVs come in both short- and long-range models, with the long-range motor delivering 383 kilometres of range or more. The vehicles also boast real-world design, utility and driving dynamics.

“We’re excited to be bringing not one but two real-world electric vehicles to the market and, with these new Federal incentives, there was never a better time for Canadians to take a good hard look at an EV,” said Michael Kopke, Director of Marketing, Kia Canada Inc. “With more than 383 kilometres of driving range without compromising design, features or driving fun, the 2019 Kia Niro EV and 2020 Kia Soul EV are here to make the switch to electric easy for Canadians.”

The 2019 Kia Niro EV is available now in two well-equipped models:

  • 2019 Kia Niro EV EX for $44,995; and the
  • 2019 Kia Niro EV SX Touring for $53,995.

The 2020 Kia Soul EV is also available in two well-equipped models this summer:

  • 2020 Kia Soul EV Premium for $42,595; and the
  • 2020 Kia Soul EV Limited for $51,595.
