The Allison 1000 Series and 2000 Series are exclusive, commercial-duty automatic transmissions for the new International Class 4/5 vocational trucks.
The combination can accommodate a wide range of special body types including, construction, urban delivery, landscaping, and other commercial applications. It also delivers faster speeds when equipped in rugged-duty, motorhome, and emergency vehicles, using a 6.6L diesel V8 engine, with close-ratio 6-speeds, that take advantage of International’s 350 hp and 700 Ib-ft of torque.
The Allison transmission in the International CV Series also has a Power Take-Off (PTO) function that allows consumers to run power auxiliary equipment, such as dump truck bodies, tow truck winches, and hydraulic tools and bucket lifts.
“The exceptionally durable and high-performing Allison 1000/2000 Series transmissions are ideally suited to partner with the International CV Series’ commercial-grade power, reliability, and practicality,” said Rohan Barua, vice president, North America OEM sales at Allison Transmission.
Allison Automatics provide the greatest value in the market by combining enhanced performance, fuel economy, and excellent operational flexibility.
