New study finds that industry professionals are finding it hard to stay on top of changes in technologies.

Shell’s new “Planning for the Future of Fleets” report takes a closer look at trends in commercial transport and explores how fleet professionals feel about their roles, future skills and training. 

The report finds that:

• Nearly half (44%) expect the job role to become less about managing vehicles and more about managing people.
• A third (35%) see investment in driver training as key to competitiveness and growth.
• 63% seek additional training to keep up with industry evolution.
• Access to more data, insight and information to explain innovations to senior management and gaining buy-in for new initiatives is also key.
