Ottawa event attracts green energy solutions.
Last week, electric bus manufacturer, Nova Bus, presented one of their latest vehicles at an event in Canada’s capital. Invited guests had the opportunity to learn about the technologies and features of this type of vehicle and to see what kind of infrastructure is needed to make it a success.
“We are very pleased that we were able to provide the City of Ottawa with our electric bus for this demonstration,” said Emmanuelle Toussaint, Vice President Legal and Public Affairs for Nova Bus. “It has already been circulating for over a year in Montreal, with great performance statistics. This event not only promotes sustainable mobility and transit electrification in general, but also allows us to share Nova Bus’ experience and expertise in these areas.”
Since the first Nova Bus electric buses were commissioned in Montreal in May 2017, they have traveled over 100,000 km and undergone more than 11,000 quick charges.
