All-wheel-drive Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV arrives in Vancouver.

Mitsubishi’s plug-in hybrid SUV, the Outlander PHEV, is now available in Canada, beginning in British Columbia and moving eastward in the weeks ahead. The plug-in SUV comes with Mitsubishi’s Super All-Wheel system, and the company says it’s the only PHEV with DC fast-charging capability providing an 80% charge in less than 30 minutes.

The latest addition to the Outlander family starts at $40,000, and comes with a 10-year / 160,000 km powertrain warranty, a 10-year electric battery warranty and a five-year / 100,000 km comprehensive warranty.
