International sustainable mobility experts from around the world attended Michelin’s Movin’On summit, which ended June 15th, at the Arsenal contemporary art centre in Montreal’s Griffintown neighborhood.
The Movin’On international summit for sustainable mobility included conferences on subjects ranging from electric and autonomous vehicles, to multimodal solutions, public transit, connectivity and a host of other progressive initiatives put forward by the industry to improve the efficiency of transporting people and products while reducing the environmental impact.
fleetdigest had the opportunity to attend several conferences on key issues such as electric battery efficiency, decarbonisation, as well as big data and its effects on transportation. You can look forward to a detailed report in our upcoming printed edition.
Over 4,000 people were on hand on the first day (June 13th) of the event, in an interactive and dynamic setting, next to the beautiful Lachine canal where drones and electric bicycles shared a common space, and conference goers networked and exchanged contact info with a simple “click” of their smart name tags.
