General Motors invites fleet professionals to 2018 Product Preview and Ride & Drive.
The 2018 Product Preview, hosted by General Motors, took place in Toronto on June 15th, along with a Ride & Drive event that gave fleet professionals access to a broad range for vehicle, from the all-electric Bolt EV to some of GM’s most capable heavy duty trucks.
The audience was introduced to GM’s latest innovations and technologies with a focus on three key areas: great products, innovative business solutions, and exceptional customer experience.
The presentation addressed five key areas of concern: safety, driver productivity, employee satisfaction, efficiency and fleet management.
GM introduced their latest vehicles, including a range of diesel-powered cars and trucks. The feature engine was the 445 hp Duramax Diesel, which boasts 910 ft. lbs. of torque for the new model year, while promising a 38% reduction in noise while at idle.
At the other end of the fuel spectrum, GM featured seven of their electrified vehicles, including the Bolt EV, and the Cadillac CT6 Plug-In. The CT6 also sports a new “Supercruise” system, that brings GM a giant step closer to complete autonomous driving.
