Fleet professionals gather in Toronto for ARI’s “Fleet Means Business” Forum.
ARI’s 2017 Fleet Forum Series got off to a great start with fleet professionals from the Toronto area enjoying a very informative program on May 31st.
The theme of this year’s across-Canada tour is “Fleet Means Business.” The program focused on fleet as an integral driver of business success. ARI is planning to host the same program in Calgary (Aug. 15), Vancouver (Aug. 17), and Montreal (Oct. 3).
The day began with a presentation by Chris Conroy, President and CEO at Holman Business Services & ARI. He welcomed the audience and spoke about ARI’s commitment to fleet customers.
Greg Raven, Department Head, Customer Experience, Strategic Accounts at ARI spoke about the “Top Five Fleet Initiatives,” explaining what fleet managers can do in order to drive the bottom line.
Raven focused on five key areas: Fleet Policy & Governance, an Integrated Supply Chain, Leveraging Technology, Employee Cost Index, and Centralized vs. Decentralized Fleet Management.
John Kiraly, Manager, Customer Information Systems, spoke about ARI’s cutting edge technologies, while David Frum, Senior Editor at the Atlantic (and Washington insider) spoke at length about the Trump presidency and some of the challenges we’re likely going to see here in Canada.
The morning concluded with a Fleet Fair and Expo, allowing ARI’s guests to get an up close look at some of the newest vehicles on the market today.
