Canadian entrepreneur launches B.C.’s first electric vehicle rental service.

Green entrepreneur, Jason Gagné, has announced plans to launch Western Canada’s first car rental location that exclusively uses Electric Vehicles (EVs).

“When I tell people about the launch of EV Rentals, many are surprised I’m the first EV-only car rental business in Western Canada,”  Gagné said. “Some of the larger companies include the odd EV in their fleet, but EV Rentals will be one of the first to only rent electric vehicles.”

EV Rentals officially opens its doors on April 22 in Richmond. Cars on display, and available to rent, will include:

•Tesla Model S P85+

•Porsche Panamera E-Hyrbid

•BMW I8 Plugin hybrid
