NAFA announces “major partnership” with Brazilian fleet association, PARAR.
NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA) has announced its first South American partnership with Instituto PARAR, the Brazilian light-duty fleet association.
The NAFA-PARAR agreement calls for the mutual support of each association’s individual certification programs and encourages members of both associations to participate in these programs, conferences, and other educational opportunities.
“The NAFA-PARAR partnership will be a great benefit to fleet managers in Brazil, as well as to NAFA members needing education on Brazilian fleet and fleet safety practices,” said NAFA Chief Executive Officer Phillip E. Russo. “Our new relationship will mutually strengthen our global fleet missions, while reinforcing the value of fleet management professionals to employers and our communities.”
“The combination of PARAR’s mission to foster safer and more productive business-driving, in collaboration with NAFA’s industry-leading education and renowned influence, provides a unique opportunity to create positive change,” said Ricardo Imperatriz, one of the leaders of the PARAR Institute. “We look forward to the great advancements this relationship will bring.”
In addition to the certification programs, this agreement encourages members to attend the other association’s conference, namely PARAR’s Global Conference and NAFA’s 2017 Institute & Expo.
