The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid’s 2.6 Le/100km city fuel economy rating in electric-only mode is a new benchmark for minivans.
The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid has earned an official city fuel economy rating of 2.6Le/100km (109 MPGe Imperial) under Canada’s EnerGuide program. The rating reflects the minivan’s city performance in electric-only mode, as tested by the EnerGuide Canada.
Prior to the release of the official EnerGuide numbers, FCA Canada had estimated the vehicle would achieve 2.9 Le/100km (97 MPGe) city, but the Pacifica exceeded expectations.
“At 2.6 Le/100km city, the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid surpasses our initially stated performance,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO, FCA Canada. “These EnerGuide Canada test results paint a clear picture of the benefits our customers can expect from driving the most fuel-efficient minivan ever.”
The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid also excelled on two other fronts. EnerGuide Canada testing established a total driving-range rating of 917 km, up from 850, and set the electric-only range rating at 53 km, up from 48.
