The winner of a 2019 Outlander PHEV is a Quebec resident.
Mitsubishi Motors’ plug-in hybrid vehicle, the Outlander PHEV, has sold more than 5,000 units in a calendar year in November 2018, helping the company to achieve a record year in 2018 following another record year established in 2017. Additionally, almost half of the Outlander PHEV sales in Canada were made in the province of Quebec.
Quebec resident, Jean-Marc Lacasse, recently won the Mitsubishi Motors 2019 auto show contest, receiving a two-year no-charge lease of a 2019 Outlander PHEV SE Touring (the best-selling plug-in hybrid in the world, according to the company). Coincidentally, Lacasse has been driving a 2004 Mitsubishi Galant up till now with almost 180,000 kilometres on the clock.
Québec residents accounted for 50% of the ballots that were filled in and collected during nine auto shows held across the country.
