The Toronto-based technology-driven automotive solutions provider, Carnostic, has developed a revolutionary on-board Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool to provide drivers with the information they need before they need it.
This pocket mechanic runs on a cloud-based algorithm software that educates drivers on the different parts and information about their cars through their smartphones, to ensure the vehicles are always in peak performance.
The company launched a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter tagged “Carnostic: Your car is talking to you. Listen,” to support the project. Interested drivers and buyers support the campaign will receive the device first.
The On-Board Carnostic (OBC) has been designed with the end-user in mind and offers a chance for drivers to truly understand their vehicles. The information is delivered in simple and clear terms that are easily understood by everyone. Some features include the cloud-based pre-emptive algorithm software that collects, analyzes, and utilizes data from 600 sensors across the car to predict problems before the check engine light comes up. It also provides a Timeline & Maintenance Service Schedule, Black BoxMode (that provides events leading up to an accident), Expert In-App Advice, and Industry Standard Professional Diagnostics.
The OBC’s campaign on Kickstarter commenced on April 15th, 2019 and managed to raise $7,000 in one week. A referral program allows affiliates to earn a 15% commission.
