The Annual Edmonton Motor Show has been the largest automotive event in Western Canada for the last 42 years.
From April 4 to 7, the event was held at the Edmonton EXPO Centre and displayed over 750 vehicles, from carmakers like Toyota, Hyundai, Ford, Volvo, and more. Sports cars like the new 2019 Acura NSX GT3 Evo and the 2019 Felino cB7R were also introduced at the show.
Highlights include:
- The Unrivaled Rides contest, where nine finalists – chosen from the Edmonton Motor show Facebook page through online votes and a panel of judges – display their vehicles at the event and attendees cast ballots for their favourite;
- The 9thannual Electric Garage Collector Classic Car Auction showcasing over 200 cars;
- Daily Drifting exhibitions; and
- The Precious Metal Gala, where patrons were able to gain access to some of the most elegant and striking vehicles available while enjoying great food and entertainment.
The show offered other interactive elements like test drive zones and simulators, where patrons were also able to experience the latest from manufacturers, classics, exotics, and customs.
Attendees were able to participate in different attractions and promotions, including contests, with possibilities to a 2019 Jeep Cherokee, and a 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible and trailer (valued at $68,300).
