The first Pininfarina Battista, a pure-electric luxury hyper GT is coming to Canada in 2020.
Built in Italy, the electric car was first unveiled in Geneva on March 4th and will be showcased on the Automobili Pininfarina and Pininfarina SpA stands at the Geneva International Motor Show that runs from March 5th to March 17th before going on a world tour.
The Pininfarina Battista offers a revolutionary design and performance with more power, superlative engineering, and the latest technology, all available in a zero-emissions package. Possessing a 450 km range, 1,900 horsepower and 1,696.39 lb-ft of torque, the new electric car is faster than a current Formula 1 race car with its 0-100 km/h sub-two second sprint, making it the most powerful road car ever.
The Battista is available in three distinct design specifications and colours:
- A Blue Iconica Battista with the Iconica by Automobil Pininfarina design pack;
- A Grigio Luseman satin grey with satin blue accents and anodized aluminum detailing; and
- A pure pearlescent white called Bianco Sestriere.
The car is also a collectible, with only 150 units produced and will be sold through the world’s most respected luxury and performance car retailers. Among them, eastern Canada’s Pfaff Automotive Partners has been chosen as the host retailer for the Battista. It will be available to purchase in 2020.
