Volvo Cars has launched CARE BY VOLVO in Canada.
This new vehicle subscription service is designed to provide an alternative, streamlined approach to traditional car ownership via the company’s first subscription-based program offered in Canada.
Volvo says that Canadians can now enjoy the simplicity of ordering a new car in less than 10 minutes via using a smartphone.
The CARE BY VOLVO subscription includes services such as winter tire installation and storage, 24/7 roadside assistance, and a concierge service that assists CARE BY VOLVO subscribers through each step of the program, including coordinating delivery with their local Volvo retailer.
“Traditional models of ownership need to be challenged and that’s exactly what we’re doing with CARE BY VOLVO,” says Alexander Lvovich, Managing Director, Volvo Cars Canada. “The subscription service combines the benefits of tomorrow’s technology with the everyday needs of people today—more time for the things they love, fewer distractions, and a clearly defined and predictable cost. We’re proud to be the first in Canada to offer consumers a different way to own and enjoy a car.”
The first two vehicles available in Canada through the CARE BY VOLVO subscription are the Volvo S60 sports sedan and Volvo V60 luxury estate.
Subscription pricing starts at $949 plus tax per month. The subscription price includes the following services:
- Professional maintenance
- 24/7 roadside assistance
- Winter wheels and tires
- Winter tire installation and storage
- Wear-and-tear protection
- Appearance protection
- Road hazard protection
- Concierge services
- Ability to upgrade every 12 months
Through CARE BY VOLVO, subscribers have the option to upgrade to a new Volvo, free of charge, as early as 12 months or keep their existing vehicle for the full 24-month subscription.
