Pfaff Automotive Partners recently broke ground on a new Subaru dealership in Guelph, Ont.

The ceremony, which took place on September 7, was attended by Guelph Mayor Cam Guthrie, as well as representatives from Pfaff,  Subaru Canada and other community partners.

The new dealership, which will cover an area of 2,050 sq m (22,000 sq.ft.) will be located in the north end of the city at 12 Wilbert Street (close to Woodlawn and Elmira Roads).

Pfaff Subaru is working with local contractors, including Guelph-based Alliance Roofing, to build the new location, which is scheduled for completion during December 2018. Pfaff Automotive Partners says that once open, the dealership will employ 25 staff with the potential for more positions as the store establishes a presence in the Guelph marketplace.

Pfaff Automotive Partners says it chose to build a Subaru retail facility in Guelph because the community matched its needs on key decision criteria including location, quality of life as well as easy access to neighbouring communities.
