Digital marketing provider Search Optics, has announced the appointment of David Cox as President, North America, a new position at the company.
Cox has overall responsibility for the company’s operations in the U.S. and Canadian markets and reports to David Ponn, CEO. He is based in Search Optics’ Detroit area office.
“David is a visionary business leader whose international background aligns perfectly with our global focus and with the Search Optics value proposition, emphasizing innovation and results,” said Ponn.

Cox brings more than 20 years of product innovation, digital marketing, sales and operations experience to Search Optics. He began his career at Jaguar Land Rover, where he served in a variety of marketing and sales roles for eight years. From 2003 onwards he served in various senior executive roles for global automotive digital marketing and software ventures, providing retailing websites, internet vehicle locators and online service booking platforms to OEMs and dealers in more than 70 markets and 25 languages. Most recently, he served as Head of Connected Car and IoT for Connect-Auto, a SaaS start-up in the automotive e-commerce and connected car sector.
