The Trillium Auto Dealers Association (TADA), in conjunction with Consolidate Dealers, hosted a top notch event, setting the bar for all future industry events.

More than 500 industry professionals signed up for TADA’s two-day Automotive Conference & Expo (ACE), which took place in Niagara Falls, Ontario on April 11-12. TADA’s guest had the opportunity to network and learn from some of the greatest business minds and industry experts.

Canadian news legend, Peter Mansbridge offered a compelling look at what it means to be Canadian, both to us here at home, and abroad where he spent almost 50 years interviewing heads of state and reporting on world affairs.

Erik Nachbahr, President and Founder of Helion, spoke about the many internet-based threats dealers need to be aware of today. He discussed in detail how criminals not only steal information and money, but how they can hold entire computer systems for a hefty ransom. He also explained what dealers need to do now in order to protect themselves from future attacks.

Tech guru, and the youngest member of CBC’s hit show Dragons’ Den, Michele Romanow, spoke about what it takes to work through numerous attempts at success before finally finding the iteration of an idea that allows entrepreneurs to make it big. She discussed her own experiences, as well as those of others who struggled through the doubts and failures to come out on top.

One of the highlights of the ACE was the Kim Mitchell concert, part of the ACE Kick Off Party. Needless to say, with Kim Mitchell on stage, a good time was had by all!
