The 96th edition of the Brussels Motor Show, which wrapped up January 21st, was by all accounts a huge success.
The Belgium automotive and cycling federation, Fédération belge de l’automobile et du cycle (FEBIAC), reported that this year’s shorter format attracted an impressive 540,000 visitors. The 2018 edition presented seven World premieres, seventeen European premieres as well as 160 Belgium premieres.
The FEBIAC reported that public interest in ridesharing, automotive-industry jobs and training, and the latest innovations on the connectivity front were among the crowd favourites.
Although an impressive number of exciting innovations were launched at this year’s event, organizers noticed a marked interest for the new #WeAreMobility app, which launched several new mobility, micro mobility and rideshare solutions for the city of the not-so-distant future. Organizers estimate that the 35 exhibitors present attracted approximately 35,000 visitors.
The 97th edition of the Brussels Motor Show will take place from January 17th to the 27th 2019.
