Designed in Frankfurt and developed on the Nürburgring, the all-new Kia Stinger fastback sport sedan has been named as one of three finalists for the 2018 North American Car of the Year.

This announcement is a momentous occasion for the Kia Brand,” said Ted Lancaster, Vice President and COO, Kia Canada Inc. “The Stinger, a true gran turismo, is a testament of the passion that derives from our designers, engineers and global executives.”

Initiated in 1994, the North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle awards are judged by 60 automotive journalists from the U.S. and Canada. Jurors determined the finalists after evaluating dozens of new vehicles based on segment leadership, innovation, design, safety, handling, driver satisfaction and value for the dollar.
