TalkAUTO Canada 2017: A Mobile Future

Autosphere » Dealerships » TalkAUTO Canada 2017: A Mobile Future

Over 435 automotive industry executives and professionals flocked to the Toronto Congress Centre on November 7, for the annual TalkAUTO Conference, hosted by J.D. Power and Canadian Black Book.

This year’s theme was Customer Engagement in a Digital World and included presentations from leading industry experts. Keynote addresses came from Larry Hutchinson, President and CEO, Toyota Canada, who discussed Setting a Course to Future Mobility, plus Josh Bloom, Automotive Practice Leader, Facebook Canada, who focused on Mobile Moves Metal.

Key takeaways from the event were that while autonomous technology is developing, it will still be a while yet before we see level four and level five autonomous vehicles, plus with more and more consumers using handheld devices, dealers really need to ensure their services are optimized for a mobile audience, from communication to marketing.
