The Policaro Automotive Family has announced the appointment of Francesco Policaro as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Policaro is recognized as a proven leader with over 20 years of experience with the company. He has developed a reputation for sound business insight and is well respected amongst his peers and colleagues.

“It is truly an honour for me to be entrusted with our family business,” said Policaro. “Our new structure will allow for our organization to move forward with renewed purpose. It is an exciting time for our company with new dealership openings, construction projects and imminent launches of new and diversified businesses. I look forward to the challenge ahead.”

Policaro started his automotive career as a part-time vehicle detailer at the age of 11 and has since held almost every position at the dealership, including parts advisor, service advisor, parts delivery driver, pre-owned sales consultant and new vehicle sales consultant.

In 2002 Policaro moved to Northwest Lexus, serving as General Sales Manager and successfully guiding the design and construction of the new retail operation and its launch. In 2005, he completed the NADA Dealer Succession Program and was named General Manager at Northwest Lexus. Ultimately, Policaro’s leadership guided Northwest Lexus to its first of three consecutive Award of Excellence designations.

In 2011, he left to open yet another new Policaro Automotive Family facility, Porsche Centre Oakville, where he was once more responsible for the construction and organization of an entirely new dealership, this time in a new market for the Policaro Automotive Family. Under Policaro’s stewardship, Porsche Centre Oakville was conceptualized and built, eventually becoming known globally as a benchmark facility for Porsche AG. The Centre has won acclaim in global marketing competitions and achieved outstanding results in both Sales and Customer Satisfaction.
