Campus Cure Crew raises over $18k for the Canadian Cancer Society.

B.C.-based Campus Auto Group recently participated in the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure, raising a total of $18,020.40 to fight cancer.

The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run that raises funds for breast cancer at the Canadian Cancer Society. The Auto Group’s “Campus Cure Crew” was the #1 fundraiser in Victoria, B.C.

“We had 30 people on our team this year,” explains Megan Williams, Marketing Coordinator for the Campus Auto Group. “Campus supports many local charities throughout the year, but Run for the Cure is always one of our top priorities. We started doing the CIBC Run for the Cure when a Campus team member’s wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011.”
