INFINITI will unveil a heritage-inspired prototype at the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance being held later this August in California.

“It started as a simple thought: What if we found a car in the southern region of Japan that had been hidden for 70 years? And what if, through this lost car, we rediscovered the seed of passion planted during our first Japanese Grand Prix, and combined it with modern-day power and technology, what would it look like?”,  expounded INFINITI Senior Vice President, Global Design, Alfonso Albaisa.

INFINITI pointed out that this prototype was developed while drawing inspiration from the company’s roots, and integrating the advanced technology of electric vehicles. According to Alfonso Albaisa, visitors will bear witness to the passion and ingenuity of early auto-racing combined with the powerful elegance of contemporary design.
